Yeah Reg. Get a couple of weeks worth of conditioning under your belt, (pun intended) and then jump into the 90 day routine. Good luck.

Thanks JP, It doesn't bother me the darkness, but I can definitely tell that my unit had a workout.

Start yourself a progress thread, Reg, you'll be glad you did. Update it every month so we here, can see your progress. But continue to post on other topics as well. Good luck my friend. Feel free to PM me if you have any personal issues or just want to talk. JP

I actually did have a few questions about this routine JP. Even though i still have a few weeks before i jump into this routine I'm very curious about it so maybe you could indulge me in my queries?
1) As far as the V-Jelqing goes I'm still just a bit confused on how to actually do them. I might be just reading the description wrong or something, but the correct method just isn't getting through to me. Are there any pictures or videos of this exercise anywhere that I could look at because I think that would really help.
2) In regards to the supplements just what exactly is the purpose of them? I'm not anti-supplements or anything but I'm just wondering what exactly they do for me and if I'll see more gains if I'm on them.
These are just a few questions I had about this routine. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I get closer to actually doing the routine, but thanks in advance for answers to these questions and my future ones.

Tonight I followed JonPop's beginning routine for the first time. It took a couple of reviews of the material but I think I perform the routine exactly as it was written. What struck me was how much time it took to complete the whole routine. It took me around 1 hour. Is that common? Is that the time commitment I am going to need to make to follow this routine? On 5 days a week?
Also, the V Jelqs where a bit challenging to understand from the description given. However, I don't know if they could be explained better with mere words. I am pretty sure I got the hang of the v jelq. Is there a video of the v jelq showing proper technique.
Thanks, JonPop, for sharng this routine. I look forward to the feedback on my questions.Cheers!

Joe: an hour for the routine seems a bit long to me too. keep in mind though that some men PE for a total of up to two hours per day. maybe that little tid bit will help you get used to the fact of a one hour routine. but consider this: you said yourself that it took a couple of reviews of the material till you got the routine just right. were you reviewing the material while you were going through the routine? because if so that's probably why it took so long. once you become familiar with the routine i bet it will go by faster for you since you're used to it.
im right there with you on the v jelqs too. i dont think i really fully understand them but maybe just the basic concept. i think i would benefit from a video of it being done too. does anyone know of a good v jelq demonstration video out there??Starting Stats 11/3/08

Reggie, Thanks for the reality check. I have a busy schedule and travel regularly with work. It may be a challenge to complete this routine as written five days a week. I may have to experiment with modifying it a bit for a shorter routine. My thought is that a shortened routine is much better than doing nothing at all. I would assume it is important to keep the warm up/warm down and stretching sequences as is but modify/shorten the wet and v jelqing.
Anyone out there practicing a shortened version of the beginner workout? I would love to hear about it. Also, if any suggestions on how to modify existing beginner routine for shorter, but still effective, workout, please chime in!Cheers!
