So I just started this routine three days ago and man, it works you! I work at a Gold's during the day for a four or six hour shift(it varies) then lift for two hours. When I come home I'm still pretty alert and awake. I eat, play a few games of Starcraft then it's off to the bathroom for warm up. I thought that a fairly fit guy like me would do this routine no problem but damn... By the second set of V jelqs I am sweating like a pig and struggling to finish. I suppose, like any other body part if you work the muscle hard you will get tired. But even when I do legs and six sets of squats I'm not this tired. I was huffing and puffing tonight and even getting a bit aggravated at how exhausted I was. AND THIS IS JUST A BEGINNER'S ROUTINE? Haha this is some serious exercise! Is this normal/ok? Will I gradually adjust to it? I am already noticing results in my flaccid hang so I know it's working and am glad to keep doing it. But boy is it hard.
Any answers are greatly appreciated, and thanks JP for the great routine.

Dieselnerd, welcome to the PE Gym. Slow down. This is supposed to be a relaxed routine.
But yes, it is demanding. I would say that out of the many, many thousands that have started this routine, only less than 5% will actually stay with it for the full 90 days.
Please let me know if YOU do. (jP

One more question, for V-jelqs is it 30 per hand because that's what I did for them yesterday

Oh I forgot to add JP, do you still recommend for the first week going five days on two off, or would two days on one off be more beneficial?

Since this routine seems to be kicking your ass, (
) Give 2 on and 1 off a try. Good luck.

I've got a question. first of all thank you for the routine, i looks good!
But i'm one of those who has more girth then length(only a .25 inch difference between both)
Anyway, you've written that this routine gives more girth than length, so should i include length exercises in the routine, or should i stick to what you've written?
Whatever you say is the best, i'll do it.
thanks for reading

Stick to how it's written it's a pretty intense beginner routine as is(Compared to the others) After 3 months feel free to edit the routine, remove some girth if you wish or just add more reps or other length exercises to it.

I know red dots are not bad as long as everything is working correctly. Is it ok to work myself until I see a few small red dots every session or every other session?
