I just started on JPs 90 day beginner routine (second day to be exact) along with ballooning after sessions. When I do my v jelgs I do them on top of my shaft instead of underneath, is that bad? Also sometimes I don't warm up long enough, can that have a negative effect on my gains? Last question I am currently following a every other day routine and was wondering if that was ok. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Im doing the JP90 also and am not a pro, but I think most will say make sure to warm up the right amount of time so you dont injure yourself (and I think it does help gains come easier as your lil dude is less stressed and more prepared for the workout). Also I have heard of people on here doing every other day, probably the safest route you can go so no problem there, if its working out for you more power to you, In a couple weeks you could always try out a 2 on 1 off and just see what you like better. I'll wait for someone else to say about the top of the shaft V-Jelq, sounds difficult to me but I guess I just never tried it that way, otherwise good luck!

I believe the V jelqs are supposed to be done on the underside of the shaft so that it works your CS as well as the CC's. I've never heard of anyone doing them on top of the shaft. That doesn't necessarily mean you are doing them incorrectly, you might be accomplishing the same thing that way.

I have tried them that way and do them that way sometimes. Do them normal. It works better.

Every time I hear someone say that V's work your CS, I say how? How much pressure is the web of your fingers actually pushing against the CS? It isn't doing much if anything for it. Wet jelqs will hit your CS if your finger tip rides up it. V's hit the sides of your shaft (CC's) and that is just about it. I do UV's which require you hit it from the top side so that you can grip the fingers underneath.
