You can do it only one day per week, but your results will take a very long time. It is better to have more consistency. The suggested methods here aren't as important as the results. Use any masturbation technique that works for you. Try to identify the arousal stages and control your orgasm response. Learn control, then add positions and other things to simulate sex as close as possible.

Ok, this question has less to do with edging and more about how people/guys/you are supposed to ejaculate/have orgasms.
Are you suppose to, after masturbating/stroking your penis,and you get to the "point of no return", try to hold your ejaculation/orgasms as long as you can, and then try and let go to have a good/strong orgasm? I'm not sure if I've just always masturbated and ejaculated incorrectly. Usually I would stroke and masturbate up until point of no return, and stroke a little more/faster and once I am at PONR, I just let myself cum/ejaculate/orgasm. Are you SUPPOSE to try and hold as long as you can to not orgasm/ejaculate after getting to point of no return?? I see in porn sometimes the male talent would keep stroking a while then cum, is he at PONR or not? I'm kind of confused. If someone could shed some light I would really appreciate it. I ask because also my orgasms/ejaculations aren't that strong. I am currently starting some of the kegel exercises and edging now but wanted to clear that up before hand. Thanks! I recently made a discovery that could help successful edging. First let me make a disclaimer.
The recommendation I'm about to give is NOT a shortcut or replacement for a well executed edging routine. Nothing can give you the benefit of discipline without the discipline. So this is hopefully to benefit guys who feel they've done everything right AND YET struggle to maintain control when approaching PONR.
For example, you've been doing a decent edging routine, you think you know yourself well and you're totally capable of the will power needed to not climax, but somehow your body takes over and even after you stop stimulus you blow your load unintentionally. This tip is especially for guys who feel that despite their best efforts at timing and discipline sometimes it just feels as if their dick has a mind of its own and can't be stopped.
There's a supplement I started taking for reasons unrelated to edging, although among the conditions it claims to treat is spermatorrhea, which is involuntary ejaculation. I'm pretty sure that condition is actually very rare these days and I don't have it at all. However the supplement I used for other purposes really did give me greater control during edging.
The western name is cistanche, chinese name is rou cong rong. At the time I started taking rou cong rong, I was just doing some slight edging near the end of my pe routine. It wasn't a major focus in my routine at all, in terms of religously following a consistent and thorough routine. It was just something I would do for a few minutes to hold a good erection at the end of the routine, hopefully improve control and discipline. I basically had pretty good awareness of PONR and could maintain control if I wanted, for the most part. But sometimes I would feel confident I could go a few more seconds, a few more strokes, and then the building of a climax would come on unexpectedly sooner than I thought. If I caved and just went for it, it would be a normal orgasm. If I backed off and tried to not cum, it would slide into a weak, slow motion, dribbling, anti-climactic climax, if you will.
The main point is this. There were instances where I really thought I was "in the zone," in control, and would be able to back off at PONR but I got caught off guard and my own body surprised me. This situation was not the reason for me to begin supplementing with the cistanche, I had other reasons. But wow did I notice a dramatic effect in helping me control my situation when I was near PONR. It was as if I had upgraded my plumbing with brand new washers. I could turn off the spigot very abruptly.
Again, this supplement is not expected to give you the benefit of edging without doing the work of an edging routine. If your edging routine is going great for you, you probably don't need this. I don't know what effect this could have for someone that is struggling with premature ejaculation. It may be worth a try. I think what it's best for is if your ability to control at the PONR is inconsistent, but not due to lack of discipline. In other words, if you have all the will power you need to manage your pleasure and not give in to the temptation to finish, but despite your best efforts your body just is different on different days or after you stop stimulus you pause and wait and watch as your guy hardens, twitches, and carries on against your orders and many seconds maybe even half minute later just does his own thing, then this cistanche is for you.
When I'm on it, here's my experience. I edge, get up to the PONR, right up to the line, lean over it a little bit, deep in my body and balls I feel the real true final preparations to blow my load and just when I think I went a bit too far I stop and it's almost as if I physically feel all valves shut down tight and nothing happens. I mean I think we all know that final swell that occurs when you know it's truly too late... with no cistanche I would blow however under the influence of cistanch, just at that "Point of Almost No Return," if I stop and focus hard then everything just halts right there. It's a dramatic and beautiful effect.
The way I take it is in the form of the raw herb. They say it's dried leaves but it looks like bark. I have to boil 2 ounces of leaves in about a gallon of water for about 75 minutes. Well some websites seem to agree with you that cistanche is taken to treat pre-e. Very interesting to read your testimony! Perhaps I'll try to get hold of some...

Hi all,
Am new here and just got to know edging and would like to know more, I do have PE issue.
I would like to know more about male edging, how to practice it. Any kind soul there have any instructions to share. I have tried searching on the internet but there is very little info on it.
What are the benefits of male edging?
I have tried a brief method on what was mention in some of the sites, which is to stimulate the penis to the edge of about to squirt and stop. I have the below experience and wonder do anyone out there experience it, there are about 3 stages that I experience,
1) leaking of clear fluid,
2) squirting of cloudy fluid,
3) outflow of sperm (not reaching climax yet)
4) I finished the practice within 5 mins and finally release my tension and what came out was about 2 to 3 leak of sperm. Which I think most of my sperm was leaked during the practice. The climax was not as explosive as most people had mention.
Is the above experience by people practicing male edging? And what is the duration of edging? When and how many time can one climax? Any other info that maybe good to know which I have not asked?

can i do kegel while i do edge?(i say that coz sometimes when i'm doing edge and get really near PONR it gives me a intense disere to do fast kegels until the point that i return from the PONR and start edge again)

also after doing edge can i ejaculate? or should i wait one day or more?
how many times can i do edge by week/day?

Edgeing is well tolerated in isolation and can be done daily .
HOWEVER you are doing the jp 90 which is very easy to overtrain on .
So I suggest you are caefull when adding anything whatever to it.
I will post a link on edgeing progression to answer your question on kegels.
