So I've been doing the jp90, on my third week and I feel I haven't been doing it correctly. I think my major issue is the jelq. I've been searching the site and some parts say 80%, 75%, 50%, 30% etc. How can I tell if I'm 80% erect? That's basically pretty hard to the touch, how can blood be pushed up like this? The only time I felt it really engorging the glans is flaccid with a pretty tight grip. Anyway, how hard do you guys grip and how do you figure out the best percentage? I haven't seen much of gain at all, except the flaccid hang seems to be slightly larger. Thanks

Follow what is said in the JP90 routine for how erect you should be. 80% will be erect, but still somewhat pliable. Definitely not rock hard.
Throw one session up as a trial and error session and play around with the grip level. Your grip should be light enough to effectively push blood. No need to grip and squeeze the life out of your penis to get blood moving. Start off with a light grip and keep going until you get to a point where you see blood being effectively pushed to the glans.

Does it make a difference if I use the one-handed jelq vs the original? I think the one handed works better..

I think a lot comes down to technique, especially the hand change over. Try concentrating on that, and keep the motion slow and even. Start the grip going at the base before you let go at the end of the jelq with your other hand. This encourages the blood to stay in the shaft and each stroke will build it up more. I start my jelqs completely flaccid, and it seems like the simple physics of expanding the chambers by pushing blood through will make it erect no matter what. On the occasion where there does seem to be a problem with a lower erction level, I start v-jelqs, and this never fails to get things going.
