Thread: Discoloration??
- 11-28-2011 #1
I've been searching the forum but don't really see an answer..
Question: Is discoloration (browning spots below the glands) normal or is it due to too much force? like am I jelqing too hard?

Here is some copys of some stuff form "The Book" from an earler thread:
amc I'm going to quote you exerts from "The Book", There is actually a fair amount, few pages of information and tips. I'm not really in the mood to retype the whole text.
"The Cause
A darker penis is generally caused by intensely penile exercising, entraining, or not obtaining an adequate warm up. It is clearly associated with intense exercises-often advanced girth exercises and penis enlargement devices..........Either way it is clear that some men are more prone to discoloration than others.....A few unfortunate men experience the darkening effect after doing any penile exercise, no matter how light it is. On the other hand, several men never warm up, use exceedingly intense exercises notoriously over train, yet still experience no darkening what so ever."
Also in the book is the following:
"What to Do
Use more heat.
Use Gentle massage.
Use less force.
Change your lubricant.
Exercise your entire penis.
Apply cream.
If all else fails, take a break."
I'll have to do some expounding later, as one of life's tasks has reared it's ugly head.
P.S. I love "The Book".

And some more:
More from "The Book"
"Use more heat. A thorough warm up is crucial, and makes all the difference. A warm wash cloth isn't a effective as a warm up that continually applies the same amount of heat, such as a moist heating pad. Also try warming up longer and using more heat throughout your workout. Every ten minutes, for example, reapply a warm up for a minute or two. Adding more heat to your workouts is often all it takes to dissipate the darking effect......"
Use gentle massage. Many men find that gentle massages-especially when combined with heat-reduces the darkening effect."

And again:
And more from "The Book",
"Use less force. The darking effect is most likely caused by trauma to the skin, often by using too much force. So try a more subtle, gentle approach when penile exercising. Use less force when stretching and jelqing. and avoid the intense excising that cause the most darking for you. For many men, this means avoiding the dry jelq.
Also avoid itense pressure build up with jelqs and girth exercises."
" Change your lubricant. If you don't already, try using a more skin-friendly lubricant, such as baby oil with aloe and vitamin E oil. Olive oil and canola oil have proven to be easy on the skin too."

I always apply Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil when I am done. It supposed to help with uneven skin tone. It dries pretty quickly so you don't have to worry about it getting your clothes greasy.
