I've been PEing for about 8 months. Some or most of you may know me from my recent threads about my steroid use and intense PE exercises. This thread, though, is not about my steroid use, but rather my intense technique. about 2 months or so after PEing I decided to take it a few steps up. I began to train as intensely as I possibly could without causing injury. I must admit I enjoy the gains I have made, but I always thought that maybe I got ahead of myself? Jumping from an intermediate routine to almost as tough as it can get. I've gained inches and am very pleased with that, but does anyone think that I did or am still doing it wrong? Is there anyone who is thinking that as long as it ain't broke don't fix it? Thanks you in advance for your reply

If it worked for you and you did not hurt yourself then you have done well. How much did you gain and how big were you when you started.

I started out at 4.25-4.5" NBPEL, now it's 5.75". Now my BPEL is 6.5" though. EG was 4.25-4.5" midshaft, now it's 5.4ish". My short-term goal is NBPEL 6" and EG 5.75".

DS: As KP said, if it worked, then it worked. Like all exercising, there isn't a magical formula to PE (at least yet). The key is to find the thin line between overtraining (doing too much) and undertraining (doing too little). The line is different for everyone

Yeah, I agree that if it worked, good for you! Good gains by the way.

I personally would not take such an intense approach, and would advise against it for most PE'ers. But look at Dustpan - he made incredible gains following a super-intense routine. Others may not be so lucky. That's why it's important to start slow and work your way up.

    Good job!
