As a relative newbie to PE, I find your observations very helpful. I've come to some of these realizations myself. I have tried different erection % and have jelqed with varying hardness as well. I was doing around 55% fairly hard. But then I upped the % to around 70, but did not reduce the hardness of the jelqs. This lead to discomfort, so I brought the jelq intensity down and it's better now.
The thing I always have trouble with is figuring out exactly what 50% or 70% erect is. I just guess. Can you clarify what you mean by bending your penis into a 'U' vs a 'V'. I'm guessing that what you are saying is: if you can curve it well, you are good, but if you can only slightly bend it, it's too erect. Is that right?Starting (02/21/12): 4.81 BPEL x 4.31 mid-EG

At 70% you can bend it both ways but it is full. Think chubby floppy but NOT stiff. I'm still doing the JP90 and it is a rough routine. It's 300 jelqs and 90 V-jelqs and about 10 minutes of stretches in all directions. It is a TON more than what he's doing. I'm amazed he gained an inch in 5 months doing so very little. It's making me think maybe I need to back off some. Hmmm...

Just thought of this...to all the newbies that decides to do manual stretches.
Make sure your grip is about an inch or below your glans and don't squeeze hard! You don't have to grip the shit out of your dick to stretch. This will prevent red dots (burst capillaries) and nerve damage to your glans.

You just have to find what works for you and puts you in the zone. Some guys are more is more and some guys are less is more. I guess I'm lucky I'm a less is more with a more sensitive dick.

um.. do you have any suggestions for a better erection quality? im one of those newbies and my erection quality is enough but i am never able to get to 100%. any tips?

Damn, wish I saw this a while ago. I kinda learned all the stuff you said first hand, I was one of the guys that jelqed too hard. Didn't realize I was doing it wrong till I tried doing it softly like PSEG. Stretching kills my eq too, I started a routine with just jelqs and a couple helicopter shakes before hand with a warm-up this week actually. I'm hoping I can get the same results as you did if not better.

I know me too. I had to learn through trial and error but everyone does to some degree. You'll def see gains. Just be consistent and don't give up brah.
What's your current routine? You might be doin to much. Can you get hard right after your workout? Do you get any night wood or erections throughout the day?

Actually, I just started on Jp90's routine this monday.. so im on day 3 as of tonight. however, i read something about becoming desensitized due to watching porn? I am 18 and I use to masturbate excessively and i mean like EXCESSIVELY.. so im really trying to cut back as my eq has really slumped my sexual performance. when im at my usual excited level my length is about 6in-6.5in with a 4.75in-5in girth. however i feel like my shaft is somewhat soft to the squeeze.
Also, i never tried getting hard after my pe and my morning erections are random.. im guessing a night erection is just like morning erection and i rarely have those.

hey so you do 5mins jelq and 5mins v?did you take any day off? i'm a newb everytime i do the jelq exercise i get 100% erect its hard for me :P one more question can masturbate before jelqing cuz i think this might help me from getting too excited sorry for bad English.
