Hey guys. So, I measured today and got my normal 6.75 inches in BPEL when I was at my hardest. BUT, I noticed that if I turned the ruler 90 degrees (along the axis that, when i turn it, i see the THIN side of the ruler) that my BPEL is BARELY reaching 6.25 inches in length. Guys what does this mean? Does this really mean my real BPEL is only 6.25? Because seriously NO ONE else ive EVER seen on this forum measures the SECOND way I just described. They always measure in the FIRST way I described and take their length measurements from that. . . But still. . .Please guys let me know. Im about to go off the deep end

I measure the second way. I too lost about 1/4" or 1/2" off of my measurement. I think it's a more realistic representation and there's much less possibility for error using that measurement, but I agree that it's not a very fun measurement.

keido. So is this suggesting that I really am NOT 6.75?? Because if i pressed the ruler that far down and then follow up with a infger next to the bottom of the ruler when its that deep, i feel that its hard. . .so that must be my penis right?
Also, do u thik i should start measuring like this?
And are u only suggesting that i SHOULD start to measure like this so that I will never make an error and have more precise measurements?
Lastly, If i lose the gigantic fat pad i have, do you think ill be able to measure the SECOND way and get my (hopefully) true measurement of 6.75??
Please answer all of this. (not tryin to sound like a selfish prik but im just freaking petrified

I actually measure the second way described with the ruler going vertical. It's much more reliable. The numbers aren't as good, yes.
As I work further and further into my PE career, I am really trying very hard to not think about the numbers. I am trying to think about one thing - progress. Progress is what I measure for now. So, you want to find a consistent and repeatable way to measure, regardless of what the numbers read.
I would also suggest JonPop's dowel rod method. I use this and then measure the dowel rod.
Plus, the second way of measuring is closer to a NBPEL, which in my opinion is the true image of your size.
So, concentrate on seeing progress and not only worry about actual numbers

You are 6.75" if you measure with the traditional bone pressed measurement. You are 6.25" with the new measurement. What difference does this really make? Your penis hasn't changed in size - the method of measuring has. I think that this secondary measurement is probably best, but keep in mind that most PE'ers do the first measurement - therefore if they measured the second way they'd also likely lose 1/4" or 1/2" off of their measurement. This isn't anything to worry about, you're not "smaller" then you were before. Also, the "average size" penis studies and things of the sort also measure in the traditional bone pressed way, so if you want an "ego" boost go with the traditional BP measurement; if you want more reliable, consistent measurements go with the secondary way of measuring.

I have switched to this method because I think it's more accurate and reliable.
And are u only suggesting that i SHOULD start to measure like this so that I will never make an error and have more precise measurements?
This is my recommendation, yes. Best you find this now rather than years down the road of your PE career, like I did.

Fat pad shouldn't make any difference in this measurement, in the same way that it doesn't change the normal bone pressed measurement. If you're not pressing into the fat pad with this new measurement then you're measuring a non-bone pressed measurement, which isn't the same.

Don't worry about it.

How 'bout you just to stop giving a inanimate object so much power over your feelings? Put the ruler down and LIVE, Ok? Thank You.

This is why i think side measurements are more accurate. if it 85 degree or 90 degrees or 95 degrees, who cares, ruler bone pressed measurements are bogus anyway. As soon as you push a ruler into your fat pad your penis begins to shrink. And the longer you hold the ruler there the smaler your wood gets. Better to use a 1/8 dow. Less traumatic to tissue. This way you can quickly measure off with a marker then measure the dow with a ruler.
For I will restore health unto thee and I will heal thee of thine wounds, saith the Lord Jeremiah 30:17

With the state of things on Wall Street these days, I bet anything you measure against a Dow will look quite gigantic.

is it really true though tht you lose that much wood (shrinkage pretty much) when you go to measure? Because when I wan my biggest measurement, I pull back the fat pad a bit to get as close to the top of the base as possible, and i apply a bit of pressure to the top of the base. This seems to allow me to achieve my hardest erection (gets REALLYvainy and stuff and I can feel the growing pressure when i do this). So after I apply that pressure, i (think) im getting as hard as i can and immediately after im as hard as possible, i slip the ruler there and even sometimes will get ione notch above 6.75 inches in length. . . .Anyway, if im doing all that, do you truly think im losing size as soon as the ruler meets it? Thanks everyone, you're all always a help
