Cooking oils are acidic though some like canola oil would probably be ok. Sheesh man, get off the 2-3 bucks and get a bottle of Vitamin E or aloe lotion.

I recently tried Astroglide X and it's crazy! Never needs renewing; one lube lasts the whole session - no water refresher needed, either.
