Hi Im still new to this. I have a pretty full schedule and aswell as that i workout pretty hard in the gym 4 times a week. Because of this ive been trying to fit in two 1 hour long sessions a week on off days, weds, sat. i did the newbie routine for 2 months but as far as kegelling and all the rest of it i get tired and cant do it every other day like i was.
My question is this: Can only two sessions a week, 1 hour long still facilitate gains and promote good health(hardness, stamina, strong BC muscles ect)
Am I resting too much?
I feel i am disciplined enough to do these 2 sessions every week year round for years to come
ive done a lot of preperation reading and come up with a hour long routine that i feel covers all bases,
Warm up, stretching, jelquing, adding some advanced exersises like uli, slinky bend ect, kegels throuout the whole hour. and i mean propper time based kegels with intensity.
My motivation for 2 intense sessions a week is high but 3 sessions i dont get as motivated. this is due to to rest periods and i feel fresher after 2 days.

It depends on how smart your workout routine is.
"Smarter workout" equals "more quality work" equals "faster gains" equals "less time" equals "less sessions per week"Start:2008-10-4

well that sentence makes so much sense. i hope it is the case because my emphasis is on good quality work, eg 5 second controlled jelqs ect. only time will tell if im undertraining or not.

I think it's possible for some people to make gains with a routine like that. I think the main issue might be keeping up the kegels enough to make gains. Do kegels every other day, maybe, even if you aren't exercising on those days.

does anyone think 2 times a week is pointless and has no benefits and absolutely no size gains.

No, I do not think it is pointless. But everyone is different, so it may end up being pointless for you. But you might as well start out that light and work it up slowly, otherwise you'll never know!
Try a 1-day-on / 2-days-off deal and see where it takes you. Just a suggestion.
