Thread: Should i decrease the reps?

After 2 months of no growth (from doing slow jelq reps), i went back to JP's routine for jelqing faster (2-3 secs).
At the same time, because i was already conditioned with 6+ months of PE, i decided it was probably best for me to increase the reps at a steady pace each workout.
-------------
At the beginning of the switch back to JP, i did 200 strokes (1.5-2 secs ea). I increased the strokes by about 5-10 each time i worked out and now im at a total of about 340 strokes (still 1.5-2 secs ea). The first month i saw an immediate spike of .25" BPEL. I was VERY VERY happy after not seeing gains for a while. I think i attribute that to the increasing amounts of jelqing. But now is the second month of this "quick progressive routine", and im not seeing any gains (and i want gains). Also at the begining of this second month i switched from warmdowns to cooldowns.
1) Should i start decreasing the strokes?
2) Is me switching to cooldowns the problem?
2) If its not 1 and 2, then what was it?
------------
My routine right now is as follows:
Warmup 5 mins
Basic stretching/a stretching 7-10 minutes
Warmup again 5 mins
OK Jelqs 345 strokes (1.5-2 secs ea) takes about 10-11 mins.
Cooldown 2 mins
Help me please, i want to start seeing gains again.

Your impatient, thats the problem everything else is fine. Plateaus are a common issue with PE. Perhaps a break from PE for a few weeks is in order.
