Thread: Miracle healing?
- 09-16-2009 #1
I'm a new member to the gym, but I started the beginners program 5 weeks or so ago. I've have on ocasion over worked an exercise, causing instant red spots on my penis. I was alarmed and thought I had caused serious damage, but miraculosly during the same work out they would go away after jelqing and warm down. I knew I was over doing it and backed down on the pressure immediatly, but in the heat of the moment I've done it couple more times. Each time it happens, I get the same quick healing during the same workout. Is this normal, good, bad?? Or do I have wolverines (X men) powers of healing?

Maybe it's those knives on your knuckles that are causing those spots?

Man, I get this all the time too! Only difference is mine stay for several hours, sometimes a day or two. As long as they go away I'm cool with it. Normal?
From what I have heard YES this is normal, just don't pull the damn thing that hard! You seem to have a hulk grip, loosen up a little. Just my .02

Not quite sure what exactly the red spots you're describing. How big are they? By the sounds of it, I'm guessing they're just engorged blood vessels, which is good/normal. They can break though, but even still it's no reason to become alarmed. If that does happen, usually larger dark red spots will appear and remain for a few days. Take those days off and let them heal and you'll be back on track. If they're just engorged then that's usually the sign of a solid intense workout, but I wouldn't increase intensity for now just to be safe.
Starting stats - June 08': 6'' NBPEL, 4.25'' EG
Initial Goal: 7'' NBPEL
Sept 09': 7'' NBPEL, 5'' EG
Jan 10': 7'' NBPEL, 5.5" EG (begin maintenance routine)
June 11': 7'' NBPEL, 5.75" EG
July 13': 7" NBPEL, 5.9" EG, began jelqing again.
Goal: 7.5" NBPEL, 6.25'' EG
It's a game of inches.

You need to lower your intensity a bit.

Yes I'm circumsized. But I have alot of extra skin that interfers with two handed jelqing. It rides up over the head unless I hold it down with one hand, while I jelq with the other.
The spots are small little red dots. I also noticed that sevaral hours after my workout that my entire penis looks like it's had a good workout(a little red and puffy) All eccept at the base. The skin closest to my body(about an 1/2-1 inch) looks untouched. It appears that this portion was not worked out. This has me a little concerned about that area not growing along with the rest of my rig. I figured I would just keep an eye on my progress, and if that area doesnt keep up, then I would ask the vets here at the gym about it. I grip as far into my body as possible when jelqing, but this area seems to be un affected by my workout? Like I said I'm only 5 weeks in, so unless you guys think its an issue, I'll see what happens as I progress.
