    Hey guys,

    So i've damaged my banjo string a little bit and stretching seems to irritate it slightly as my hands touching it a bit etc etc - you get the picture.

    What I was wondering was... I'm meant to be starting back on after a rest tomorrow - is JUST jelqing alrite to do? I was thinking a 10 min rice sock warm up then 10 / 12 mins jelqing. That doesn't irritate. Or is stretching pretty mandatory to stretch the ligs pre-jelqing?

    Without softening up and stretching ligs, increase in length is practically impossible .

    I've had a 2 day break already - do you suggest a further 3 days break then? (I do 3 days on then 2 off)

    Or is there a way of stretching that's less hands on around my glans?

    You can jelg without stretching, but if stretching is painful, its probable jelging would be also. There's nothing wrong with a couple of days or even a week off to heal. Pain is bad and exersizing with pain is REALLY BAD. Take whatever time you need but keep applying Heat to it on the rest days, 3-5 times a day if you can. And you can give it little test inspections with a tug here or there to see how its progressing.

    If you are nearly flaccid and jelq, it will help with length, provided that doesn't cause any pain.
