When you lose weight the last place you shred fat comes from your abs area.
I do little to no focused abs workout on a weekly basis. I honestly think it is a waste of time.
I get enough core workouts from Squat, Romanian deadlift, deadlift, good morning, etc.Start(11/14/2016) : 7.25 BPEL , 5.5 MSEG
02/11/2017 : 7.6 BPEL, 5.6 MSEG
GOAL : 7.5 BPEL , 6.25 MSEG

I have the same problem been running on treadmill and exercising and still have the fat pad

There's no such thing as "spot reducing". While exercise can help you lose weight, diet is key!
20% exercise, 80% diet. If you want to lose fat cut way back on the complex carbs (potato, rice, pasta, chips and sugar intake). More protein and vegetables, and if done correctly you will never be hungry!-Foldus,
