Thread: Edging vs Kegels?

I am just coming off a porn reboot and my EQ is not very consistent at times. But I found that Kegels help me stay almost fully erect at these times. I believe it's because more blood is being pumped into the penis. Therefore it allows me to stay erect longer. Am I right? But I don't want them to effect the Reverse Kegels that I'll most likely need to stop my ejaculation. Is this Ok. It's seems to be counter productive to me. What do you all think?
P.S. I'm only trying to cure my Premature Ejaculation, nothing else.

It sounds like you are on the right track.
A kegel only routine is helpful up to a point but once you have an established routine and your kegel work out comes naturally it is time to introduce reverse kegels. You can use either Ks or RKs to stop ejaculation so having both options in your tool box is very helpful plus maintaining a balance in yout PC/BC muscle strength is very important.

Thanks for the help Pirate.
I've read a lot of info about how people relax their PC Muscles with the Reverse Kegels. It's says it reduces that tension from the PC Muscles which actually causes the Premature Ejaculation.
Will you explain to me how it's done with Regular Kegel. I'm totally confused.

Nay, you canno do a RK and K at the same time. You already know how to do a K (kegel), aye?
So, to do a RK (Reverse Kegel):
If you sit naked on your hand and sit up very straight, position your fingers on the muscles between the base of your scrotum and your anus (also known as your "taint".) Focus on flexing (tensing) that muscle and pushing it down. As this is not generally an exercise that many people do in the normal course of their lives, figuring out how to do this can take a bit of time. For a while, you may involuntarily tense your stomach muscles at the same time. With practice, howeve, you will learn how to isolate the PC/BC muscles and be able to RK without engaging your stomach.

For a beginner, what kind of schedule would you use. Ex. How many kegels/reverse kegels would you do a day. How many sets and what days would do them?
If you have a minute to spare, will you please make me out a workout plan to get me started. I would hate to overtrain or not do enough.

Ok here goes:
I workout 3 days and rest 1 day.
Ex: I workout on Mon,Tues,Wed.
Then take off Thur.
Back at it on Fri,Sat,Sun
Then take off Mon. And so
forth.
I had started to work only on Rev. Kegels(or at least what I thought were Rev.Kegels) every Workout Day. I would do 2 sets of 2x40 reps twice a day. That's 80 in the morning and 80 at night. Also I would do random sets of 35 or so throughout the day. This is where the idea of me overtraining comes in.
I have already found and isolated the right muscles for the regular kegels even though I can't hold it for more than a couple of seconds. So then by me having Pre. Eja. I came to the conclusion that Reg. Kegels were what caused the tension that makes me Pre. Ejac. in the first place.
That's what led me to doing only Reverse Kegels. Need more info?

Also,I don't have a Log Thread. I'm only here to cure my Pre. Ejac.
I didn't think I needed one unless I did Penis Exercising. Is that correct?

Keeping a log thread will keep you from having to keep explaining your progress, goals, and routines.
Here is what I suggest:
MWF: Do as many Ks as you can in 5 minutes twice a day. Don't try to hold them, just clinch and release. Don't worry about RKs. Record how many Ks you are able to do. Record how you feel. (Did you reach muscle exhaustion? Do you feel like you want to do more? Less? ETC.)
STTS: Rest
