I'm starting with PE and I'm finding it very difficult to keep a partial erection while jelqing. I've tried to simply renew my erection after every X number of reps, but I feel that this causes too long of a gap between reps.
It sometimes takes me up to 60 seconds to renew, which I generally need to do every 25 reps or less. The beginner routine suggests 300 reps(10 minutes of 2-3 second reps), so I end up interrupting my exercise up to 12 times.
This seems excessive enough to be detrimental, to me.
Any suggestions?

I kegel in between Jelq strokes to adjust my erection level. As I finish the stroke I am getting my other hand in position to start the base grip, it is then I will decide if I need to Kegel more blood in or not before I grip the base. Happy Jelqing........

Is it an issue of becoming too hard or too flaccid?

I'm sorry- I didn't articulate that well.
The issue is that I become flaccid to easily. I can keep a full erection without problem, but anything less and I can't control it.

I'll try that, but in the past I haven't had any luck directly controlling my erection level, as opposed to indirectly controlling it by controlling my mental arousal level.
Any other advice is still welcome.

Some people advise putting up a sexually arousing picture or even a video. As long as you use it sensibly (glancing only when you need to raise erection level - perhaps muting if you're watching a video) then it could help to maintain your erection level.
Like I said, I'd only advise using this method if you're going to be sensible and strict with it, don't let your PE turn into masturbation.One day your life will flash before your eyes, make sure it's worth watching - Look Alive

I do this during my PE as I have the same problem. I get flaccid after about 30 reps.
So, i have porn playing on my laptop with volume muted. And look at it whenever I was to increase the erection level.

i thought you were supposed to attempt to stay flaccid anyways.. maximum of 30 percent erection level for newbies? If you're having trouble staying erect it just means use a smaller grip but make sure you're not over squeezing? someone please correct me if im wrong.. because i thought i read on here that if you get too hard that you just lighten your grip, too soft tighten it, the key is to make sure you're not choking the thing to death and you can see and feel the blood flow is the main point?
sorry, this is poorly written.. because im not positive if my interpretation was correct or not.
