    Research

READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST!!!!! Maximize Your Success Here.

    Measurement Abbreviations and Acronyms

I can’t stress the importance of fully researching PE before you start on your PE journey. I spent an entire month researching and learning about the ins and outs of PE on this site. After a short time on here, I became overwhelmed about all the information on this site. Take your time and research before you start. You are only giving one penis, so cherish it. If you need to, find a senior member or mod/admin to ask questions. You will soon find that this site is a brother ship, where we all help one another. That is the beauty of this site. I can’t stress the importance of the females on this forum. They are special…they are honest and will give you a point of view that differs from your male counterparts. Respect them and cherish their point of views.

    Finding a Program

There are a couple beginner programs on this forum to choose from. Pick one and stick with it for the duration of the program.

    Goal Setting

Research has proven that if you set a goal and hold yourself accountable, that you will be successful in your venture. Set yourself a realistic goal to hit in a short, medium and long-term duration. People are more successful in hitting their final goals when they have several mini goals.

    Check out this thread…
2014 Make Your Dick Bigger Challenge!!!

You will find that the majority of members have set realistic goals. You will not only be able to track your goals, but also measure your progress against theirs.

    Privacy

Privacy can become the biggest challenge you will have to face when you start a PE program. It is important early to establish an equilibrium of privacy. If you have roommates or a spouse this can be very challenging. It is much easier to tell a spouse rather then lie or hide PE from them. It will become more difficult over time and you will feel guilty for hiding this from them. Many members will PE in the shower or when others are sleeping. Do whatever you have to do to get your PE sessions in for the day. Split sessions are very welcomed and I actually would encourage them if you find it difficult to PE.

    Understanding Your Penis

Knowing how your penis reacts to programs, stress, routines, etc. will help you from becoming injured during the process. If you warm-up properly and have conditioned your penis, then you and only you, can determine if you can push it to new links. Learn how to connect or reconnect your mind and penis. This is often reported among many members that suffer from porn induced ED. Getting your mind into the game is extremely important to be successful.

    Importance of Measuring

Measuring is the best motivation a PE'er can have in his arsenal. I suggest that you read the threads that show how to effectively and accurately measure your penis. The first measurement is the baseline and IMO the most important. This will be how you see results even when you can't see them visually. Pictures are equally as important…take a before picture as your baseline.

    How often to measure?

This question comes up often. There is no wrong or right answer, but there is a general consensus on this site. Most people do not measure everyday, or every week for that matter. Some will measure every month, but most will set a goal for every three months. I believe the three month mark is important because it gives enough time for your penis to be worked. It can be easy to obsess over measuring. You will find yourself wanting to measure because you think you are larger. Disappointment can be a big motivator killer, and that is why I believe you should set a goal time limit. Measure only when you hit that mark. This will give you a true measure of progression.

    Creating a Log

My biggest regret was not starting a log sooner. A log of your journey can help find trends, plateaus as well as become a motivator to yourself and others. Numerous times I have went back to my log to see what I did months ago. I find plateaus and look for ways to overcome them. After coming back from a break, I can see what I had done. This gives me a good benchmark on what to expect the second time around. Start one! Here are many examples of what to write about

    Starting Your Program

You finally made it! It is time to begin your journey… This is all about technique and dedication. Do not detour too far from the program and give the program enough time to work for you. The biggest mistake I see is members that skip a beginner program or add more work to a beginner program. These members will quickly start a new thread titled “ Injury….” These programs have been tested over time and are proved to work if you give them the time to work for you. Patience!

    Heating Your Penis

Many members will overlook this because of time restraints. You are hurting yourself severely if you don’t heat your penis before exercising. Heat will allow the groin area to relax and become more pliant. This elasticity will allow the penis to stretch and resist injuries. Think of a cold rubber band. After too much pressure exerted on the rubber, the band will snap. Exert the same pressure on warmer rubber, and the band will stretch. The same principle can be applied to heating your penis.

    Packing Heat

Monitoring Your Positive & Negative Indicators

Our biggest weapon to prevent injuries is monitoring our penis positive and negative indicators. Think of them as a dashboard in your car. You have gauges to show you the status of your car. PI’s and NI’s provide us with current gauges of how our penis is dealing with the stress placed on it. The needle won’t go from green to red all at once, but rather gradually in either direction. This gives us time to react to what our body is predicting the future state of our penis. Keep the needle at neutral and positive. When you start to see the needles moving from neutral to negative, it is time to evaluate the situation. I suggest taking a couple days off and then reevaluate the situation. Most of the time, these rest days are crucial in preventing injuries, and overall penis health.

Read this and then read it again.
    Physiological Indicators (PI's)

    Injuries
Injuries are feared but not always respected. Injuries occur when one ignores all of the NI’s and believe they can persevere through the pain/discomfort. They ignore the advice of other senior members on this site, and convince themselves they are the exception. Others just simply get overzealous when they are seeing positive gains. Be smart and play it safe, you only have on dick.

Beginners- Injury Within 90 Days and How?

So you have injured your penis, now what?

Stop! Evaluate the damage. Evaluate pain, color, deformation, and other signs of penis damage. Next, DO NOT continue to perform penis exercises or perform sexual activities with your penis. Wait a couple days to see signs of improvement. If your penis does not improve over the coming days or week, it is time to see a professional doctor. Not an Internet doctor who gives advice on forums. A doctor you go to in person. Again, you are giving only one penis, be careful.

Big Al has provided us with an excellent tools in dealing with penis injuries.

    Dealing with Penile Injuries

One of the biggest reasons why people stop gaining or do not gain is because of injuries. Injuries are setbacks and will greatly affect your PE journey. It is not a sprint, but rather a marathon. Be safe!

    Importance of Rest Days

Who wants to rest!? Well, no one wants to take a day off from PE. Let’s face it, we enjoy tugging away at our dicks. Why should we take a day or two off? When should we take a decon break? These are all questions that we ask ourselves and only “we” can answer these questions.

So when should we take a day or two off?
Paying attention to your PI’s and NI’s are imperative. A solid program will have rest days built into them. However, even programs with built in rest days should make way for more rest days. Watch your indicators and listen to your body. If you need rest days, no harm no foul. It is better to be safe than sorry.

When to take a decon break?
Having a log to refer to will make this much easier to decide. Typically, you have two choices…. Take a break when you have hit a plateau or when you have hit a plateau and nothing else is working. I suggest the first decon break be 1-3 months time off. This will give your penis a break but more importantly, get your mind back into the game. Don’t under estimate a decon break.

Read this…What Has Made You A Successful Beginner?

    Program Over…Now what?

People often ask….”My program is over, now what?”

Have you heard the phrase, if it ain’t broken don’t fix it?
If you have had successes with your current program, then start it all over again. Continue with this routine until you stop gaining. When you hit a plateau and you aren’t gaining then you can modify your routine. This brings me to my next point…

    When to start advanced exercises?
Don’t change your entire program. You can add a couple of advanced exercises when you are conditioned. You can add more time or more reps. Plateau busting doesn’t have to be rocket science. Often a small tweak will get you over the hump.

    Gains

There are three types of gains…

Newbie Gains –Beginner gains that often are the result of increased EQ in a short duration

Bona Fide Gains-Gains that are the result of penis breakdown and repair that result in temporary longer gains until gains become cemented. Bona Fide gains can start occurring 2-9 months.

Cemented Gains-Gains that become over time become permanent. Cemented gains can start to occur after 1 year, and to fully cement gains it may take years.

Example of Newbie Gains: Two PEGym members…
Peter Goezina and Adolf Oliverbush. Both members completed the same program with the same effort and same starting stats.

    Start of Program
Peter has an EQ rating of 5 before starting the program.
Adolf has an EQ rating of 9 before starting the program.

    End of Program
Peter now has an EQ rating of 10 after the program is over.
Adolf now has an EQ rating of 10 after the program

    Results
Peter gained .5 in his first 6-8 weeks.
Adolf gained .1 after 90 days.

Some men start out at different EQ levels and will have different rates of newbie gains. It doesn’t mean they are lying or a freak of nature. EQ gains can give you a quick boost to your penis ego if you have newbie gains.

After you have utilized your newbie gains, the real work has started. You will see your gains become slower and take longer to achieve. At this time you may start to hit a plateau. This separates the dedicated members from the “quick button” members. This is when you typically see members add more advanced exercises or start to change their programs. You want that inch…be prepared to spend the time and dedication needed to get that inch.

    Being True To Yourself

This isn't a big dick competition "no pun intended" but rather a lifetime journey of better penis health. You will get more out of PE if you measure accurately and record correctly then trying to impress other members with obscured numbers. This is your penis, not anyone else's. Why cheat yourself?

    Just an awesome thread overall.

It has all the needed information for beginners and how to approach PE.

I think many new members are lazy and do not research themselves since I keep saying same basic question that could of been answered just by reading beginner stickies.

Last part of the text is true it is not some type of competition of stats and how big your penis is.

Repped and I hope this will become a sticky.
    Start: 8/2013: BPEL: 6.3" EG: 5.1"
    Current: 9/2020 BPEL: (8.3 inches BPFSL: 8.9 "* MEG: 5.9
The Goal: BPEL: 9 inches EG: 6.5"

Great guide. Just a suggestion but adding a small section on the order of physical changes that lead up to gains ie. improved flaccid, hang BPFSL gain might be helpful.
                Beginning stats: BPFSL 7 5/8" BPEL 7.25" EG 5.5"
                Current: BPFSL 8 5/8" BPEL 8" EG 5.5"
