Thread: should I i increase the intensity?

    I've been doing pe for a month now and haven't gained,
    I am doing 50 jelqs(2 hands = 1 rep) and 30 second stretches in each direction on a 2 on 1 off scheduel.
    Should I increase the reps for jelqs now? or stick to it for another month?

    my eq is the same as when i started, but my p.is were always positive (morning/ night wood).

    Sure. I don't see a problem with that. How have you been gaining? If your PIs are good but you haven't been gaining then increase the intensity.

    I haven't gained anything yet, but how much do you think i should increase the jelqs by?

    You could try out the JP90 routine. It has yielded great gains for beginners. I think that it is a reasonable step up in intensity, but if not then I would increase the jelqs to 75 reps and you can add a few more reps with the stretches. Do you have a kegel routine with your PE exercises?

    I second this my husband had almost all of his gains from JP's routine.

    I did 75 kegels and 75 reverse kegels when i started out for a week and stopped because i couldn't do reverse kegels correctly, i tried the pushing out urine method but it doesnt work when im not urinating. I didnt wanna mess up my pelvic floor balance by doing them incorrectly so i just stuck to jelqing and stretching.
