Hey everyone,
Let me start by clarifying my title- I've known about PE for a long time and first started doing it about 7-8 years ago. I didn't take it seriously, but I knew how to jelq and I NEVER experienced what I experience now. Basically, I only decided to get consistent a little over a year ago. It was a scary injury because it took 2-3 weeks before I could get an erection again. But the worst part was that I don't know what I did wrong. I was extremely careful, barely erect, jelq'd with an extremely light grip, and just got this terrible sharp pain on the left side of my shaft.
After that, I stopped jelqing. It has been over a year and I decided I would give it another try tonight, hoping everything healed and deciding I would take it EVEN SLOWER than before, maybe doing half jelqs for the first few months. Sadly, it was not meant to be.
Using a very light grip, after just a couple strokes, I can feel the SAME PAIN and I had to stop the stroke immediately to keep it from escalating. Its on the left side of my shaft towards the head. I don't know what it is, but I know jelqing is NOT supposed to be like this. I shouldn't be jelqing in fear that one quarter inch extra stroke of a light grip could cause an injury. So, I've decided that for whatever reason, I cannot jelq anymore.
Here is my question: I don't feel any pain when I do the stretches. Should I try pumping? Obviously it would be at a VERY low pressure, but I would like to continue PE and I need a girth exercise.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

well thats really weird..
Are you heating up?
Also you might be pulling some nerve that is close to your skin or something like that.... Have you tryed dry jelqing?
With dry jelqing your not rubbing the skin. It is a more intense exersise but it might help you stay away from that pain. If you do dry jelq take it very easy and just practice at the base of your shaft and away from that problem area.

And yes i'd be stretching like crazy. And no i'd stay away from pumping for a bit until you get this injury figured out.

Hi Big Al,
Whenever I jelq, even extremely lightly, I get a very sharp pain on the left side of my shaft near the head. I have therefore stopped jelqing, and erections have been normal without any sign of permanent damage. Since I can't jelq, do you think I could do a pumping and stretching routine to acquire gains? The only problem is that my penis is not conditioned since I haven't been able to jelq, but if I started with very gradual pumping, could that work?

I believe if you already have a pump, you should try some light pumping which will force additional blood into the area of the injure. More blood means better healing. However, if you experience any pain or negative PIs, you should quit immediately.

Apologies for the double post. No, no other movements give me this pain. Since it happened a year ago, I've had rough sex, masturbated, you name it, the pain has never been replicated. It's literally only when I try to milk my penis. There's never any physical signs of damage either- no bruises the next day, no discoloration. But when it happened the first time a year ago, I felt it every day for 1-2 weeks, so I know it's not just in my head. I'm wondering if it might be some kind of nerve compression but I experience no numbness, tingling, or difficulty getting erections!

Well, my thinking is to try pumping and stretching (stretching gives me no pain) and if that works then I would just stick with those and maybe try jelqing again down the road. If I experience any similar pain while pumping, I would stop immediately and then probably get it checked out.
To be completely honest, I'm actually a physician myself so I can predict that the doctor would not be able to do much for me.
Therefore, my question is whether pumping (starting very gradually) would be okay to try on an unconditioned penis.

I'm not a physician nor can I recommend any medical advice, but if you're worried and able to determine what might be wrong- perhaps with a Doppler or even a cavernosogram- then it might give you more peace of mind so that (if nothing's wrong) you can train inencumbered.

Like Big Al said, get it checked out because you don't want your training to be limited. You probably won't be able get into advanced training later on with this, so best get it sorted from now.
