Thread: why do doctors say pe impossible
- 12-07-2009 #41
Agreed, a ton of research is terrible and a waste of time. However, this research still falls under "preservation of life" not enhancement of sexual organs, which is in line with what I said before. You can't convince people to research penis enlargement because it will save lives. However, you can convince people to spend money on researching CO2 emissions from cows, because people are scared of climate change killing everyone. I'm not going to argue if it's true or not that it does, but it's definitely more important to investigate than penis size.
Real medical doctors don't make any money from enhancement pills, they can't give a prescription for them. Penile surgery has risk involved in deformities, so it costs a lot of money, and there isn't any money being spent on trying to reduce that cost or improve the technique. However, on the other side, people do spend money on trying to make flu vaccines more efficiently and for different strains.
I'm not going to argue anything about marijuana, that's a whole separate bag.
I don't want to anger people here, you all have been very helpful to me. Yes, it is about money. People don't spend a lot of money on penis research.

Honestly... PE has a chance to be 100% free. Although there could be some kind of business as a personal penis trainer.... but I digress... Why would someone who makes money off of the expensive and worthless ways to enhance the penis want people to know about the free way? They wouldn't. That's exactly why it's not well known or dismissed. Yes, no large studies have been done. Why would they? Why pay money to study something that could end up being free in the long run?

Exactly RB. Too much bogus stuff out there. Too many rip-off artists for them to substantiate a proper claim. I don't really care though, it just means that us lot will have the biggest dicks! LOL!!!

What's ironic is that the free/low cost methods seem to be safer and more productive. At the other end of the spectrum, you have phalloplasties that cost into the tens of thousands of dollars and often leave the penis with an unnatural appearance along with less-than-spectacular gains- and that's if nothing goes wrong.

Woah, I am merely stating that doctors are typically more concerned with pathophysiology and treating medical conditions. Some may even feel this topic belittles their expertise. As for me, I would definitely encourage PE. Studies are performed from time to time, some of which are subject to peer review. Again, PE is not a medical situation and therefor not the domain of the physician. Maybe sports physicians, trainers, PTs, etc. would be the ones responsible for such knowledge. Unfortunately, many patients and physicians have historically inadequately dealt with sexual issues. It has only been recently that women's inability to orgasm has been open for discussion in the clinician's office. Understand our medical system is notoriously very conservative. Maybe my saying I was Pre-Med made people want to doubt me. I am NOT licensed to say anything, nor do I feel I have esoteric knowledge. I was just saying that Doctors would not be the one's to see for such knowledge.

One word..."malpractice"
But I agree. Listen to Docs, but don't ignore the rest of the world. Docs are responsible for a LOT of knowledge, but they are human. That is why I am so very grateful that this website exists. I would like to say thank you for all who make this possible and your support and expertise is always welcome.Initial BPEL: 7" (june 16, 2009)

For anyone asking why someone doesn't pay all this money for a study to be done, I have an answer: Nobody wants to be known as the guy who spent $2,000,000 to see if you can make your penis bigger. Conan would have enough jokes for a decade.

There are now also a lot of medical professionals involved in the cosmetic/plastic surgery industry. This was an industry that not too long ago was shunned by the "purist" doctors, but is now a multi-billion dollar industry in this country alone. As history has shown, when something comes along to threaten the money pile, those with vested interests tend to get very upset about it. They'll use denial, ridicule, and even threats to get their point across.
