  • Question for the pro's

Is 1 week too long to break from PE?

  • #2
Not necessarily. PE is a long term exercise protocol. But it depends how often you are taking a week off. Recovery is actually a great thing, used in the right sequence between active training.

But for most, a week off won't be detrimental in the long-term scheme of things.
    Started - 6.25" NBP / 7" BP x 4.75" EG

    Short goal -7.25"(goal reached!)NBP** 8.25"BPEL x 5.75" EG (goal reached!)

    Long term goal - 8"NBP ** 9" BPEL x 6"EG

Surely you can get some stretches in?
        Perhaps dry jelqs as well?
And edge (at least do that).

Can you split your routine in those days you are busy? Or just follow a lighter version that fits in your free time?

Taking a week off isn't horrible. Personally, I've taken a whole month off and forgot some exercises haha. As long as you get back into it and stay motivated, it's all good.

And I thought I was the only that did that.

It is fantastic for gains. Especially if you do an intense routine.

OP I understood you said you would take one week off every three weeks of training?
Am I right or do you actually means you'll do that only once?

My schedule till end of year is 3 weeks of work then off a week. Then it goes 2 weeks on 1 week off next year. That will be a permanent rotation. I didn't see any negative changes over the week. I do however find a few minutes to get in a 5 to 10 minutes of routine.its just not the time I want.

I usually take a couple of weeks every two months of PE training. When i get back to business i see gains in the second week. So, OP dont worry about not PEing for such an amount of time. You can still do some kegels within your day or even some very light stretching every time u r in the WC.
