Thread: How hard to squeeze
- 02-03-2015 #1
Hello! I recently started with jelqing, have done it for 2 days. But the thing i'm worried about is if i'm squeezing enough when jelqing? How hard should your grip be? Should i rather squeeze harder than soft to be sure i do it right or what? My routine is going to be: warm up (hot sock) - stretching with keegels - dry jelqing - warm down (hot sock) Could this work out? Only thing i'm worried about is how hard i should squeeze and that i really get the blood moving. I don't wanna do this wrong from the beginning. Thank you! (Wrote from mobile)

Forgot to mention one thing.. When i have done the exercises, about 20 minutes later or so it feels like something is happening inside my cock? I mean, it really feels like something has happend. I don't mean like gains, but it feels unusual and i wouldn't say comfortable. Is this just placebo? Maybe it is the same effect as regular gym training? Like the cock is working because of the training. I hope it's not a bad sign? This maybe is a sign of something?

Hi Habban, I also started jelqing 3 weeks ago, my grip is very very light and even with this kind of grip I see some gains. Normally this is a conditioning stage, so you shouldn't grip very hard.

I agree with the above id describe it as a tough massage if that makes sense warm up is crucial I also wouldn't pull your cock in too many diff directions at first, as you complete the first jelq do not lose until the next jelg is going smoothly half way up your member, you should notice a more prominent flop at times of the day if its going right

Good job on starting. I always use a light grip. In the beginning you Dont want to be too hard for sure. This is the conditioning phase and a chance to learn how your penis responds to excersizes. Be gentle and persistent. 2 on 1 off is a great place to start. If there is discomfort after then you may be squeezing too hard.

Not much to go on here, but these are two things that can cause discomfort:
1) You let your grip slide over the glans. Always stop short of the glans, and then release the grip when you switch hands. Don't let it slide.
2) The OK grip is done sideways. Your thumb and finger should join at the underside of the shaft. If they meet at either of the sides, it can put pressure on some nerves, leading to discomfort.
Your description was rather vague, but just thought I'd mention this just in case...-- If it ain't rock hard, then it ain't worth doing

Make sure your grip is loose enough that you are not giving your cock a death grip, but also with enough pressure that you are moving the blood throughout your penis. If you are just moving skin, then it is too light- you want to use slightly more pressure than that and get a deeper "massage" if you will.

Err on the side of caution. If your not sure then lighten up. You can always increase your grip later. I was using too much grip at first and probably second. I'm using a real light grip now bc I wasn't happy with my PIs. I'm still trying to figure out what works best for me.
best to always do periodic...
are the gains permanent?
