    Hey guys,

    Sorry for the long post. These questions might have been asked/answered before on the forum, but the answers i found were not enough or created even more confusion for me..

    I am a total beginner in PE and have started PE this week. Just completed my day #4 and i have a few questions/problems:

    1. When jelqing, it is so hard to keep an erection level of 40%-70%.. don't get me wrong, i don't have any erectile problems, i got up every morning with a 100% erection and sometimes even wake up during the night with it. Also it gets up in a second when my girl is near me, doesn't even have to touch it. But when i start my PE session, after the warm water on the towel from warming up and then using the lubricant (in my case baby oil), everything feels so damn relaxed down there to be able to get it up easily.. i have to stroke it really hard to get it to 70% and think something sexy, then i start jelqing and by the time i do 30 jelqs it goes down to 30%-40%. Is that still good enough to gain length ? If not, do you have any advice for how to keep it at 70% ? Would help watching some porn or sexy pictures or would that be totally wrong ?

    2. I am uncut so when jelqing, the foreskin almost covers my glans competely. Is that a problem ? I notice the foreskin starts getting a little red at the top when doing it, so i think it's working, but i don't want the foreskin taking most of the blood and leave the glans without enough.

    Woud it be better to not use the oil and do it dry ? I heard that if you're uncut you can do that. Also i think it would help with the erection as well.

    3. I am confused on whether i should be edging immediatly after the jelqing sessions and before the warm down, or do it later at a completely different time. Also, is it more helpful to keep having arousing thoughts like thinking the last time i had sex when edging ? I noticed when i do that i get a lot faster to PONR then without it. So i guess if i master doing it with the arousing thoughts, that means progress, right ?

    I agree with the potential grip too tight.

    If you have no problem jerking off and keeping hard try this instead.

    Do ok grip and masturbate using your lube this way. Ok grip on base. Slow stroke up. Same hand take back. Ok grip on base. Light stroke up. Do this without squeezing at all. Just light strokes. If you can get off this way and keep hard your either gripping too tight or doing it wrong.

    If that works best time squeeze a tiny bit and repeat. See if you can keep 100% hard and get off.

    If that works start alternating hands and increase pressure a tiny bit. Stop before you get off.

    If that works. Slowly add pressure a bit and (concentrate on not getting more than 80% hard as your now jelqing rather than masturbating) work on it until you can hit JP90 100 strokes per hand and feel fatigued and expanded without pain or discomfort.

    If at any point you feel pain or discomfort. Stop and take a few days break and dial it back a notch or two.

    Hello Undoo,

    1. It's not uncommon to start to loose erection level while jelqing. Just stop and stimulate yourself to get it back up. If you are looking to gain length the you want to jelq at the lower erection level (30-50%). Higher erection levels are good for girth gains.

    2. There is no problem with your skin covering your glans while jelqing. The skin turning red is a good sign that you are moving the blood up the shaft. When this happens, stop and retract your foreskin to see if your glans are red also. If it is then you are doing it right.

    3. Edging after jelqing is a good time to do it. Mastering edging while you are highly aroused is what you are aiming for. Using your imagination to stay aroused is a good way to edge.

    1. Yes, 30-40 percent can still gain length. Lower erection level jelqs target length, higher target girth.

    Avoid porn use, but erotica, sexy pics, erotic audio, fantasizing...all okay. A few pleasurable strokes are needed sometimes, and that's normal. Keeping at a certain level will become easier with time.

    2. Nope, not a problem, but it's usually recommended to hold the foreskin back. You can do them dry if it works for you. That's the key, what works for you, is the right way.

    3. Either works, and edging can actually be used as a warm down. Purpose may indicate which is preferred. For growth help, right after may be best. For stamina training, later may work better.

    Yes, sexy thoughts are okay. And yes, that would be progress, especially if mental arousal is a trigger.

    Thanks for all your suggestions guys. The grip i use is ok, i am doing enough so that it doesn't hurt and enough so that it pushes blood towards the glans.

    So 30-50% is good for length, that's awesome guys..that's exactly what i am looking for. I am pretty happy with my girth, but would like a little more length :-)

    I actually tried doing it dry and it seems to work a little better for me, so i think i'll go for that. The glans doesn't get that fully covered anymore and it seems to be receiving a little more blood, it's expanding a bit more and turns more red.

    I had no idea edging can be used as a warm down, that's great advice! Ok, so i'll do some edging right after my PE session to help growth and as a warm down and also do it in my off days for stamina training, i think that's the best plan for me right now.

    All right, so sexy pictures, thoughts, audio, etc..but no porn. Got it!

    Best to keep rest days just that. Complete rest, no PE at all. Good for healing, and a mental break.

    Edging afterwards will accomplish both, so your good with 3 or so times a week. Don't want to get into overtraining.

    One last small question.. edging is better with or without lube ?
