Question about measuring

I saw the video on how to measure NBPEL here, and the measurement (in the video) was done along the glans. I mean, whenever I measure, I don't measure along the glans- I simply measure straight out (without actually measuring along the glans). If you see the video, you'll see what I mean.

Is this right?

I see what you mean. Using a tailor's tape, and "wrapping" it over the glans, right?

I suppose NBPEL would be close enough either way, as long as it was done the same every time. Personally, I think straight out is the correct way, but viewing angle can actually change that too.

Yes exactly- using a tailor's tape. For me, however, there's quite a difference when measuring over the glans, and straight out (without actually over the glans). When measured straight out (without over the glans) I am approximately 5.75" NBPEL, however when measured over the glans I am approximately 6 inches NBPEL. So it gives me a 0.25" difference.
