question regarding oral hygeiene

kind of a weird question but can having bad oral hygiene effect EQ permanently?i have a bad tooth and gum problems that i finally can afford to get fixed next week but was wondering if oral hygiene plays a part in EQ?ive read some thing that it can cause blood flow problems but not sure how true it is.
also does taking ibuprofen or advil cause nay problems as well?ive been taking it for the pain in my mouth.
