Does anyone else notice that their PC muscles are more tense in the morning? I can still have good morning erections but i think if i try to get an erection manually through stimulation in the morning after waking up i tend to reach PONR faster and doing reverse kegels will be harder during this time, almost like the area needs to be 'warmed up' like how you need to warm up your legs before a soccer match so it feels kinda tense.
Does this imply that i have tense PC muscle and a RK and stretch routine should be done? Or is this normal?Last edited by jackspain; 03-16-2015 at 10:59 AM.

I'm just the opposite. Wake up relaxed, stress-free, making morning sex always the best! None of the stress of the day built up, and NO BETTER WAY TO START YOUR DAY!

I made the very same observation some time ago. My neck muscles also seem more tense in the morning for some reason.
I'm making a lot of progress at the moment, making my pelvic floor more relaxed, but I haven't thought about whether it has made a difference in the morning. Will get back to you on that one.

Pelvic floor imbalance results from weak PC & BC muscles. If you kegel too much, it can cause an imbalance. Start by doing squats, and tennis ball exercises to relax and help develop RK's. Keep your K:RK ratio at 60%:40%. Don't start out holding kegels more than a couple of seconds and do sets of 25-30. Work your way up to 60, and start extending the holds to counts of 5,10,15,20,30 seconds as your muscles build up. Don't overdo them, you can tell when they are exhausted by a slight ache you'll get in your lower abdominals. Good news is, these muscles build and recover rather quickly, so you can usually clear up an imbalance in 2 weeks or less of practice.

I do a rk/k routine with focus on rk mostly... I try to do 3 days a week of rk and 1 day K to fix the imbalance I have. I worked my pc muscle for years in the hopes to be able to have better control of when i finish but sadly had no idea what RK were lol. I have also started doing squats at the gym.
