Hello everyone!
I'm new to penis exercises, obviously. I've heard about this site and eventually bought the ebook "penis exercises". After reading most of it - except for the stuff about advanced exercises - I started my first workout today and have a few problems/questions.
First I did 2 sets of 20 Kegels to start out easy. Then follows a warm up. I watched out not to get too close to my testicles. After 10 minutes I start off with 20 JAI stretches and the normal stretching routine while using a stopwatch to make sure that I do exactly 30 seconds. But with the stretches I already had my first problem: how do I grip correctly? I'm uncircumsized and have a short flaccid penis of only 2 inches length. Therefore it's really difficult to even find a place to grip and tug without touching my glans. This problem continued during the jelqs. During the jelqing it was also difficult to get the OK-grip close to the base and the actual movement was quite short. Is there any way to fix this or still do proper jelqs?
According to the book I should start the jelqs with an erection between 40 and 75%. So I tried to get it up with little success. Eventually I could hardly get a half-erection which faded after a short time. It's kind of hard to stay hard with only the stimulation of the hand. Is this normal? Or should I consult a doctor? (I shudder even from the thought of possibly having erectile dysfunction) I was hoping to improve the quality and duration of my erections and hopefully to cure my premature ejaculation, but this was a disheartening first training session. Now I'll take two rest days and hope that it will improve...Last edited by DontLetMeHang; 03-23-2015 at 04:17 PM.

Don't miss this thread!!!
- You do not need to warmup your perineum.
- To stretch your penis, pull back your foreskin, and grip your penis behind the glans, make sure that your hands and penis are dry, you may use a tissue or a piece of cloth to aid your grip, touching your glans is not a problem as long as you are not gripping it.
- An overhand grip will allow you to start close to the base, use slow strokes and a light grip, make sure to end it before you reach the glans.
And if you haven't already done so, check the links on the navigation bar at the top of the page especially the START HERE Thread and focus on safety, you only have one penis, take good care of it.
Pick one of the manual beginner routines and follow it for at least 90 days to condition your penis, or until you stop gaining. Most members here choose JP90, it is an intense routine, start slow, and build up to the full routine over a few weeks time, jelq with an erection level between 45% and 65% using a moderate grip, just enough to move blood up the shaft and to the glans.
Pay attention to your PIs, your penis is trying to tell you if you are over working, or you are in the growth zone, aim for positive PIs, and steer away from the negative ones.

Thank you for your hearty welcome.
I think somewhere in the book it said that one should warm up the perineum. But if it's not necessary, that makes it easier. I'll incorporate your advice in my next workout.
Also is the JP90 program better than the one in the book? I just didn't want to start off too intense.

JP90 is the most popular routine used by the members here, as long as you start slow (you do not need to start with the full routine from the get go, gradually work up to it), and follow your PIs you will do fine.
