OK thanks guys. I'll start off taking 2g in the morning and 2g before bed and see how I go. As for the empty stomach/with meals thing, I've heard both sides. Any more information regarding this?

That sounds like a good place to start. You have been doing PE a lot longer than I have so maybe you will notice a difference with the additional arginine. I have been on it for years but only started PE 2 months ago so I have no idea if it has any effect. One thing I have noticed though is that if I take it when I wake up and then use my bath mate 45min later in the shower it does seem to give me a better pump but also with considerably more Edema.

JP recommends 500 mg prior to PE. I have ED and take 5 gr. three hours prior to sexual activity which generates a nice semi. It also gives me an extra 1/4 inch stretch in the extender.

From reading on here, I've heard that l-citrulline is better than l-arginine because less of it is converted to byproducts, and you get better vasodilation, but ive never tried it. Can anyone more experienced confirm?

I have not tried L-Citrulline, so I couldn't comment on that.
With L-Arginine, the best amount to take is what is recommended. Anything more could be a stupid move, especially if you are new to it. The last two bottles I went through recommended 1000 mg of L-Arginine, three times daily. Check what the company who made it recommends.
All that said, I have seen research that daily intake of L-Arginine is fine in amounts up to 5000 mg. Many PE'ers, however, have found success take 500 mg three times daily.
SO...start off with the recommended amount. If it works, stay with it. If you think it's too much, back it off accordingly.Initial:

If you take it before bed on an empty stomach you spike HGH - Recover faster - Get bigger.
L-arginine works better if you take it in a fasted state 3-4hrs after your last meal, since fat negates the blood vessel dilation and renders it pretty much useless. That's why you should take it before bed or very first thing in the morning, if you're a morning PE'er.
Don't forget to cycle off of Arginine too. You build up a tolerance to it after about a month to a month and a half.

Okay, this is insane to be recommending this much. You could seriously fuck someone up giving out this type of advice. If someone has low blood pressure it can be particularly dangerous, or if they are on other medication.
Caution should be used in advance whenever starting any new supplements, in particular ones that mess with your blood pressure. If I took 10 g of Arginine I would probably have to be brought to the emergency room!
