I don't know much about the bathmates, I have one but never use it. I did use a normal pump for 9 months and didn't gain squat from it, so you are asking the wrong person about pumping.
If you are going for length, then pumping will do squat for most guys anyway, as it is a girth device predominantly. See how your manual routine works out for you over the next few months. If your heart is set on pumping then you can include it whenever you like. However, we usually say to people not to change anything in their routine if they are still gaining. Just a quick update.
I just completed 1 month and did my first solid 50 jelqs confidently and without any discomfort/irritation at all
I simply combined my water based Lube with one of my Herbal healing Creams that I usually rub on my penis post workout, but decided why the hell not use it during jelqing as well
I have to say it was a very smooth, warm & creamy feeling that felt great, and I was ecstatic. I'm going to increase my jelqs now little by little over the coming months confidently.
I may make a thread about it incase others don't get a chance to see this as I feel its important to mention for those who may have similar difficulties in the right choice of lube for jelqing

Is your junk getting itchy from this over time? I did the same thing on my first big round of PE and my skin started itching so badly that i eventually had to quit early.
