Only you can answer that. If you want to do it for yourself, then go ahead. I would really question doing it for someone else, since you won't have as much motivation. Remember, you need to be consistent and follow a routine that works for you. Most people on this site say not to touch a ruler until you are 3 months into your routine. This is because some people see results in weeks to a month, while others take way longer. Grabbing a ruler after a month (which is actually a pretty short amount of time) and not seeing results can be extremely demotivating.
In the end though, as long as you don't force yourself to do anything you don't want to or rush things, I see no reason why anyone wouldn't want to start/continue their PE routines.

Absolutly continue your PE, It doesn't hurt to add a little confidence boost from it. I always thought I was damn good in bed before, but I , and my wife also, did noticed a little increase in confidence from my PE success.
