  • First workout - the good and bad

Hey everyone. I just started PE today and I got back from my first "workout". I decided it makes perfect sense to start it in the shower so the unit is warmed up automatically.

A little backstory - I am 26 and I got a penis injury masturbating in late august. My shaft hurt and it hurt to pee, and I had pain ejaculating - my urologist suspected that I damaged my urethra somehow. The situation has slowly improved, I am doing much, much better now, it will probably go back to normal, but I decided I would take action and strengthen my penis anyway. I suffer from some ED issues.

In the shower, I decided to do a good 10 minutes of basic stretches. Held my penis with an OK grip, up down left and right, and rotated it 20 times both clockwise and counter clockwise. All is well. I pulled hard enough to stretch it but not hard enough to feel any pain, just some stretching. I felt good and I probably could have gone on longer. But, off to a good start.

When I got out, I don't have lube so I decided to improvise and use my Cremo shaving cream (it's a special shaving cream for guys like me with heavy beards). It was good enough....but....

The problem is that I couldn't get an erection. I did, sort of - but nothing past 30%, and it wouldn't last very long. Maybe 30 seconds to a minute. For most of the time, I probably did jelqs on my flaccid penis. I guess I felt odd trying to get an erection on cue. I was very gentle with the jelqs and I would say it was borderline massage.

I'll refrain from masturbating to see if I can get a better erection. But if not - is there a good alternative to jelqs, without the requirement of an erection? Can you jelq flaccid?

Are there any other good exercises I can incorporate? Thanks.

Are there any supplements I can take that can help with the training process?

Hello again. Holding off on masturbating should help. If you watch porn stop that also. Jelqing is best done with an erection level between 30%-70%. Dont use a very strong grip just like you described. There are supplements that can help with erections, but in my experience they should be saved until all other options have been tried. Keep up the good effort and keep in touch.

The lovely penguin answered all your questions, so all that is left for me to do is say jelq on!

A basic stretching and jelqing routine will compliment one another. Did you see the PESG or JP90? They are up in the Start here thread at the top of the page.

Part of being successful with PE is knowledge. Don't be lazy about it, read up and learn all you can about it. It's your dick man, you only get 1 so don't waste this opportunity. All the questions you just asked and many more answers can be found under the Start Here tab right on the top of this page. Except do not jelq with shaving cream. Although that's probably covered there somewhere too.

So here's the deal, first off do not use shaving cream, soap, conditioner, toothpaste (you get the picture) to jelq with. Think about it you are rubbing this shit into your penis so make sure its healthy for it. Use a water based lube or a good essential oil like coconut oil. Personally I use lube, but I rub the coconut oil in once in awhile to help with stretch marks and blemishes.

The rest of the answers to your questions you can get again, under the Start Here tab. Good luck.
