        Depends what you mean by "motivation to start". Personally, I think if you have any doubts then it's probably best you don't.

        EDIT: My initial statement may come across as negative so let me explain. In my opinion, it's like most things in life...if you want to be successful at something, whatever it is, you have to be determined to succeed and dedicated. If you need persuading and enter into something halfheartedly then you are more likely to become disenchanted, be unsuccessful and give up. There are hundreds of success stories here as my rooftop-hopping, nunchaku-swirling, ninja warrior friend Aang has elaborated to below.

              After you've spent some time pouring over the forums. set some realistic goals. Don't get overzealous. My honest thoughts? Commit wholeheartedly but safely and in 6 months measure and see what happens. If at the very least chances are you will at least have better EQ.
              BE safe. Don't go nuts...or you'll be ALL nuts.

                Welcome to the PEGym forums. Great choice, by the way. I have lingered around for a couple of months, listening (so-to-speak) and taking notes and playing with a program that works for me. Finally have something that I think will work for me (since it is MY dick, afterall, right?). I also did this haphazardly about three years ago (absolutely no focus....just what 'felt good'). I can tell you....it is gonna be weird at first...

                So, you are here. I would suggest that you do a beginner's program. You would be well advised to go slow, to not worry about gains in the first six months (or year, for that matter) and simply work on improving the overall health of your dick. Hey, I used to bench press 340 lbs (no lie). Do you think I just laid on the bench one day and did that? No, sir! I started at 180 lbs and slowly worked my way up...take the same approach here. Well, same concept.

                I would also STRONGLY suggest that you pay attention to the PIs (Physical Indicators). I tend to WAY WAY WAY overtrain and my dick tells me when I am doing this by not being a good boy. So, I might get hard, I might not. The EQ (erection quality.....something that is SUPER important) will also suffer if you over train. Trust me...if you have a wife, girl friend, FwB or FB (shit, or a sugar baby) I will tell you one thing: you can't get hard for her and she is going to (A) be devastated (women have egos, too) and (B) swear up and down that you are cheating on her!

                At first....like in the first three months....go slow. I can not do five days on, two days off. I can do two days on, one day off. Tops! If I do more, he tells me "Screw you, dude. I quit! Well, for today, anyway!". Listen to your dick.

                Definitely start a progress log. As weird as it might seem, upload some pics of your dick. Hey, I hear all the time how amazing my dick looks and how gorgeous my dick is...so I ain't shy. Just get over it and do it. We are not gonna laugh or anything here. This is a safe place for guys - and a few gals - to speak about your dick the way we talk about a dude's body (Dude, you been going to the gym?). Same thing here. Only....the topic is your dick. You will get over it quickly.

                Take good measurements now....ask if you have any questions. Take the following measurements:

                BPEL (Bone-pressed erect length)
                MEG (mid-shaft erect girth)
                NBPEL (non bone-pressed erect length)

                These are the big three. There are others. But, in my opinion, these are the big three. Get a tailors ruler or use a string and then measure it with a ruler. Do not use, necessarily, a wooden or metal ruler (just my take on this).

                Ask questions.....read the forums. Go to the Premature Ejaculation Forum...lots and lots of excellent stuff in there. I can go for 20 minutes....so stamina is not really an issue for me. But, still, I can take the concepts in there (and they are, literally and figuratively, foundation-type stuff) and make me better. There is always room for improvement, right?

                That is why we are all here!

                And, last....ween yourself off porn (if that is an issue). My ex-girlfriend was always so amazed at how quickly I would get rock hard once we got naked....and she did not usually have to do a dang thing for me to get that way.
