  • Poor 1st Workout

    So today was my first workout on the JP 90 day routine; and it wasn't great.

    I warmed up/stretched well, but had difficulty maintaining an erection (not a full one obviously) during the jelqing. Because of this, the quality of my jelqs weren't great, but I tried my best when I was hard again.

    I don't normally watch porn, but did the past 2 nights so not sure if this had an effect. Either way, I'll try my best again tomorrow.. maybe no more masturbating for a few days..?

    Here's the thing, in the beginning there will be a learning curve (no pun intended!) Some guys jelq 3-4 strokes and are at 100% erection; other guys have a hard time maintaining. Your penis is getting used to this new routine, much like the first time you workout- you muscles are sore from the enhanced usage. Give it time and if after 2 weeks you still feel there is a problem, report back. But, track your progress each day so you can give us some insight to possible issues. Good luck!

      Ah thank you! I know these things take time & it's not a race so I'll go again tomorrow & give it time. I'll keep you guys updated either way! Thanks for the encouragement!

          Hey 619, BEST indicators are always going to be morning wood and PI's, so lay off the masturbation (edge instead & don't blow your load but every other time) and learn to relax & meditate, keeping your legs & feet relaxed while doing tour routine. Also, PE is best done naked from the waist down (at least), so you can focus on staying relaxed below your waist. Don't curl your toes, tense your calf muscles thighs or feet, and you'll be able to maintain a smooth relaxed semi that's best, for jelqs. Good luck and see if these suggestions work for you!

            And what if you bave problems maintaining the erection after a bit more than 2 weeks? I sometimes have.

              I was using that number as a baseline for him as a beginner, but if you have a consistently negative reaction to your routine- you may be overtraining. It's a game of checks and balances...check your PI's, make sure you balance your routine so you don't train too hard too fast.

              I think that there will always be a lack of EQ while jelqing, it's just the nature of the exercise. As long as you feel like you are getting a good jelq, I wouldn't worry too much. You know your dick better than anybody!

                As far as edging, as I've already done my routine.. can I still edge later in the day today?

                  I feel like I'm doing a good thing and it always swells like hell while doing it and stays bigger for a while after, even if I do it at lower erection level. And I don't worry too much, because I'm more focused on length currently, so doing it this way is maybe even better for that.

                  I have one question, though - what EXACTLY ErectionQuality is? Is it my abillity to get it up or the hardness WHEN I get it up? Because, it's much harder to get it up since I've stopped porn (hence the problem with jelqing sometimes), but when I do (morning wood or with a girl)...oh boy...don't stand in my way, or I'll pierce you!

                  And I have no turtling or pain while doing and after the routine. You think all's good?

                    Yes, you can edge anytime except a couple of hours after ejaculating (refractory/rebuild). It's best done immediately after PE though, because you get that extra engorgement for an extended time aiding the growth and healing of deformed tissues immediately after PE. I put on my steel cock ring after PE (before edging) to keep that flushed flaccid even longer, throughout the day.

                      Erection Quality (EQ) is BOTH your ability to get it up AND the hardness of your erection. NO TURTELING after PE is a GOOD PI, too. Means you're not overtraining.

                        Something which actually gives me more confidence about all of this - okay so I've got a proper ruler ordered so I can check girth properly, but just as a reference I compared it to my iphone6 screen size (literally the only thing I have to get a form of measurement at the moment) & it's larger than that, which is 4.7 inches.. not a lot but considering the fact I have always thought I just edged 4 inches, that's a boost when I needed it

                              Join the AP90 Group and drop the PORN habit cold turkey and FOR GOOD! You'll reboot after that, and regain your ability to get and keep your erections, unless there's something physiological going on. If you're young, healthy and not stressed, it's likely just the old residual PORN hangover you're suffering from. Use your imagination more when you edge, focus on deep abs breathing and keep your legs & feet relaxed.
