Thread: Recovery Time?
- 01-19-2010 #1
Recently I found out I had been overtraining from the fact that I have had no morning wood for about a week now. I have since stopped PEing all together until it comes back.
Just wondering, how long did it take you guys to recover from a situation like mine?
I am almost to a week now without PE and can't wait to start again. I was doing JP's beginner routine (on my 3rd week with no gains) but I may have used too much intensity or it could have been because I was doing 5 days on 2 days off. Anyone else have this problem in the beginning?

I was overtraining and after 4 sessions (with 2 on 1 off routine) I realized my EQ was down with no morning wood. So I stopped for 4-5 days and everythings back to normal so starting from today again with my routine but a bit light one.

Alright, I think I am close to being recovered because I am getting regular erections and my flaccid hang is better today. I think that the fact that I was semi-erect this morning may mean I am close as well. I don't want to rush it so I am trying to be patient. It will be 5 days off for me now. Good luck with the adjustments to your routine, what are you doing now, less time?

You very well may be overtraining, but morning wood is simply one indicator. Before people go and re-think everything they are doing I think they should look at all the indicators.

I see so even though my morning wood has not returned fully I may be ready to go again. I have my regular flaccid hang back and it is easier to get erections. I am only waiting for my EQ to get a little better so if tomorrow looks good I might start again. Thanks for the tip.
