  • Penis milking issue - too big veins!

    I have a theory.
I've been doing jelqs for about 2-3 weeks now, and I suspect that i'm not getting the best workout simply because my penis has big veins in it.
Even when im flaccid you can see big veins.

So when im erect it is very easy for blood to flow out of it. So when i do the milking exercises the veins get bigger which i presume means less blood into the penile tissue.

Anybody have big veins as well? If so, got any suggestions or remedies?

I think your theory is flawed, the visible veins have nothing to do with the amount of blood that is used while having an erection, they feed the outside tissues of your penis. The larger veins not only move more blood out but move more in also. All this means is your getting better blood flow throughout your entire unit. I have very pronounced veins and have no problems whatsoever and actually like they way it looks, it reminds me of the way my arms look after a good workout.

i think my theory still stands.

      I dont see the flaw.

Veins pull blood back to the heart. Arteries take the blood pumped from the hear to the rest of the body.
So bigger veins mean more blood coming out of the penis because I don't see large arteries.
I know they are veins because they are bluish in color.

One of the benifits of doing PE is a healthy penis. Large veins are an indication that you are getting good blood flow to this organ. Like HT said, this has nothing to do with your erection other than blood supply. You need to do a little reading on the anatomy of the penis. Here's a link. Penis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There is a flaw. H-trigger is right when he says that the visible veins only drain the outside of the penis. The main vein that drains the inside of the penis is the Deep Dorsal Vein, which is beneath the Tunica Albuginea. There are also other layers, like Buck's Fascia, which cover the deeper tissues of the penis. The veins and arteries which are used for erection, and thus also for PE, are not visible or even palpable from the outside.

If anything Kayaker you probably have large arteries in your penis as well. I think having good veinage to begin with is a plus for penis growth and will help you grow at a faster rate.

I can see that Cern has already taken care of this question, I was only going to add that if there was a lower amount of blood going into your penis then there would be no use for the larger visible veins. Increased blood flow will always be a plus to help grow a healthier stronger unit in my book and the best way to get that is with a good PE routine.

i do have some amount of visible arteries, but they dont compare to the size of the veins. even when flaccis i have 1 or 2 big veins on the top of my penis.

when i am genuinely aroused my penis is very hard. like during morning wood, i can tell it is genuinely hard. but it's when im trying to force an erection (an artifical one in my opinion) where an erection is hard to maintain because there is simply too many veins pushing the blood out.

If i were to apply a slight pressure at the base of the shaft where the vein is, then i become more engorged and harder and bigger...etc. its the same principle as using a cock-ring, which helps me tremendously.

and just yesterday i read a post of one dude who has a vein surgically adjusted so that more blood would stay in his penis. now im not thinking about surgery, but i sure wish i had a smoother penis with less veins. ugh.

OK kayaker, I will tell you my hypothesis of your problem.

What you think you have is called "venous leakage," and it means that the veins which let the blood out during erection for some reason let out too much blood, and consequently you cannot keep an erection. This is a fairly rare problem, but people are always self-diagnosing themselves with it. Hell, I also thought I had venous leakage about a year ago.

But you do not have this problem, and let me tell you why:

The real test of whether or not you have venous leakage is if you can maintain an erection or not, which you can. If your veins were letting too much blood out of your penis, you would never have a full erection because they would be doing this all the time.

No, my friend, this is psychological, and many people have this problem during sex, myself included. There are many reasons for this: Partly because you are, as you say, forcing an erection, and expecting one; partly because you are probably tense and breathing differently, less relaxed.

Try relaxing and not worrying about this anymore. If you really had a mechanical problem like you think you do, you would never wake up with morning wood, and you would never be fully erect no matter how aroused you were.

I wanted to post something like this but Cern beat me to it. I would like to add a couple of more things though. The amount you masturbate will have an effect on your spontaneous erections and the amount of porn you watch will effect it as well. Porn desensitization is a cause for some forms of ED. I would like to ask how much porn you watch and how many times you masturbate.
