  • The Masturbation Dilemna

    I have seen comment that masturbation is bad for PE.

    I had always been a disciple of "use it or lose it", "you have to practice if your going to play" etc.... In fact, if I go more than 3 days without sex or masturbation I start to lose focus and it effects my work.

    So whats the deal? Can I masturbate on non-PE days, a few hours after workouts etc,,

    I read the British study that said men who do not masturbate ever, have greater gains. But I wonder about some of the factors involved there also-
    You would think that having an erection for masturbation would enhance size growth, not hinder it. I usually take my time an hour or so... maybe if you rushed through it.

    any thoughts? Whats the science behind this?

      I'm with you, every post i have read still leaves me guessing. I have seen some gains early, does this mean it could be more if I stop all together. Also I masturbeat similar to jelqing, could it be a mini work out if used during an "off" day? Anyone have any experience or stories?

      FSL=5 1/8 FG=4 3/16
      (ELBP)=6 5/8 NBP 6 1/4
      EG=5 3/16

        This has been a topic that has been discussed for quite some time now. Personally, I would refer to remek's PE Survey to see the results of masturbation/ejacuation and how it relates to PE growth. Then, I would also listen to your own body - that is the best advice on this subject that I could offer.

          We're all guessing here on this one. Everyone - even the "experts" - are just guessing. Why? Because everyone has a different opinion, and there hasn't been enough "research" to sway either way.

          The best thing is to try both and see what works best for you. I also suggest the two hour rule.

            As far as I can tell masturbation DOES affect my PE routine. When I first started I would masturbate right after my workout, because I figured what the hell. Every time I did this I would get the "turtle" and all the work seemed worthless. After reading a few posts I cut back on the frequency per week I masturbate and started doing it only on my "off" days. It's been about a month now since implementing this rule, and I notice that the pump I get from PE sticks around longer, and I feel like the effort is starting to pay off. Being new to this, I'm not the expert, but I would say in my experience masturbation can affect the results of PE but don't think abstaining completely is necessary either.

              This is exactly what I personally believe. The survey results tend to build evidence (albeit not nearly enough to set it in stone) for this belief as well.

                I also have been thinking if you're a heavy masturbator(2+ times a day) you might want to stick with the newbie routine for less time as you might have already conditioned your penis. I have had to make a couple adjustments after taking this into account, no pi's to go either way yet.

                  Bod: You might be right that heavy masturbaters have a more conditioned penis, and thus can withstand a more intense routine than light masturbaters can.

                    Well, my girlfriend likes to have sex three times a day with me....not a ton I can do about it. Will this be a major set back for me?

                      Well yesterday I had a pretty heavy workout I did 5 /2 minute clamp sessions with some jelqing in between and thought I might have gone a little overboard(I never clamp, just the basics), it took me about an hour and I was tired. About 6 or so hours later was lucky enough to have sex only to find when I got an erection it looked like it did when I clamped and was as hard as a rock!! Also I woke up today with a mean boner. I would put this on the positive PI list. I think if you masterbate every day, the newbie routine might not be effective. I would say, stick to jelqs and stretching, just increase the time and intensity.

                        Just kidding. You shouldn't have a problem, just continue PEing and you might be able to increase the intensity quicker than others. That's all.
