  • Simple Penis Anatomy Question

This is has been a curiosity for me for the past few months: whenever I reach a near full erection (90-100%), if I push it down (make it point at, say, a 45 degree angle towards the ground from level), it fills with more blood and I get an intense sensation of fullness. When I do this, the head swells like it would with jelqs, and it gets extremely hard due to the extra blood. What's going on here?

Haha! I guess I wasn't very clear with my question . I mean to ask, why does it fill up with blood when I do this? (And it's not gravity, since if I just bend over this doesn't happen).

Roger, there are 3 main chambers in the penis. The two that run parallel to each other in the core of the penis are called the corpus cavernosa. The third one runs along the ventral side of the penis called the corpus spongiosum. It sounds like when you bend your penis you are compressing the corpus spongiosum. This will force the existing blood forward into the head making it harder. It may also relieve pressure on the arteries allowing additional blood to enter the penis.

I know what you mean. When I started PE a couple years ago I was totally ignorant. I spent countless hours reading about penile anatomy.
I was very surprised at how little I knew.

I forgot to add the corpus spongiosum (looks like a giant vein) and glans (head) are connected. That's why your head fills up with blood when compressing this area.

            You are very welcome!

Take a look at this, this is what I refer to as Erect Kegels. Check out my journal, this will be one of my main exercises for the next 2 months.
