Yes it is a lot of reading. So here is a bullet list.

+ Helps restore testosterone levels because it is a pre cursor to testosterone.
+ May be useful for type 2 diabetes in making insulin resistance less resistant.
+ Helps get rid of middle age spread.
+ Lowers cholesterol and blood pressure.
+ Increases energy, fights fatigue and in my opinion sarcopenia (the wasteing of muscle tissue as one ages)
+ Helps prevent erectile dysfunction in men.

          Kingpole,

I'm interested to hear if you think DHEA contributes to hair loss? I certainly don't want to go any thinner on top if I can help it, but I do like the positive notes on DHEA
Don't focus on the destination but enjoy the journey!

I believe in Australia, dhea is only avaible in trace amounts over the counter. Can it's production be increased in a natural way other than with trib?

@KP - any new news on DHEA? I've read lots of great things about the stuff. Renewed youth. Increased sex drive. Increased loads. Increased strength. Basically it naturally increases testosterone. Men over 30 can take it and feel 18 again. In small doses, it can be very beneficially. In high dose, it can have negatives effects. (hair loss)

                    What are your thoughts?

Hey kingpole what are your thoughts on younger people taking DHEA. Im still 19 so would taking only the reccomended dosage like three days a week mess up my natural hormones. I think low testosterone may run in my family as neither me or my dad can grow a full beard (mine wont grow out past an inch) plus im a really slow bloomer and Im not even positive Im done with puberty (still clumsy). I was thinking that maybe if I took it while Im still developing along with the 5G's I could maybe even see some natural penile growth (as I've heard that taking androgen during puberty can give you a fat ass dick and DHEA is a precursor to that right?). Do you think it would be a safe bet for me or should I wait a few years?

If you are overweight or diabetic you can take DHEA. Start with 12mg per day. That is half of a 25mg tab.

Keep in mind DHEA can also convert to estrogen. If your estrogenic producing more estrogen tahtn testosterone it may turn on you. I woul go with the five G's for several months to up the test levels then start on DHEA when testosterone has become more dominant the the estrogen.

Thanks, Im not overweight but i am worried about my DHT levels. A few months back I got a test booster called Methyl Arimatest. After taking it maybe three times I realized that it contained Dihydrotase a 5-alpha reductase blocker. Do you think that only taking a few days of this would cause permenant reduction in DHT. Does this drug permanantly bind to receptors or is it only temporary. Im really worried because I heard that 5-alpha reductase inhibitors in hair loss products can cause permanent reduction in DHT. What are your thoughts on this I am really really worried that I have screwed up and caused irreversible damage especially since I think I have low DHT anyway.

How long were you on the drug and what were you taking it for?

Been taking tribulous and DHEA for about 2 weeks. Take 1-5 750mg tribulous capsules a day, 1-2 50mg DHEA tablets a day. Not much difference, but I seem to recover even better after my recent pumping sessions. Then again 2 weeks isnt that long, things take time. I've been drinking the green tea for over a month now, it's a made a bigger impact than anything I've ever taken except for maybe gingko. I suspect that after a month the DHEA will have a greater effect, just gotta be patient.
