So I went to the doctor and they told my I had bruised my penis,and that is why I'm having a hard time maintaining an erection,should I trust that or could it be something else,this is really frustrating,I was even with a girl yesterday and I would only get about 60% hard then it would go down in seconds,I've been resting and icing but I'm extremely worried this won't heal soon and I don't trust doctors in general,I'm not sure they we're right but they've come to a conclusion about what it is and won't send me to a urologist

Does it look bruised? Does it hurt while flaccid? Does it hurt while erect?

It doesn't look bruised,they said I bruised the tissue,on the inside,it just looks swollen to me,it hurts most of the time,it let's up sometimes but I think it's cause I'm not paying attention,I haven't touched it,I've left it alone,I've been icing and taking ibuprofen like they told me to do,but when a girl is basically sucking your face off and grinding on you and touching your dick and it's only halfway hard,we have a problem

Over a week ago,I understand I shouldn't be all healed but over a week straight of rest and ice and there's no progress,actually things have gotten worse

Yup that happens with bruises. Sometimes you don't even see the discoloration for 4-5 days. I would rest for 3-4 weeks, and I do mean rest, and you'll be fine.
