Hi,
I'm 19 and this past year I've been struggling with trying to get hard and it's putting a strain on my relationship. I feel like I'm too young to be having these problems and it is getting quite annoying.
I'm not even able to get fully erect while masturbating, it's like semi erect. I stopped watching porn a while back and don't masturbate too much either. However I do get morning erections here and there and that's a stronger erection however I'd say it's only at about 70-80%
I am a type 1 diabetic, however my blood sugar is well controlled. Last two A1c results were 7.0 and 6.8.
I also have a vitamin D deficiency (quite low) but I'm about 2 months into taking the treatment and still having ED problems so not sure if it could be that.
Due to my job I am having to sit down for 14+ hours a day (Have been for almost a year now) and I rarely exercise either at all or even walk as I work from home. Diet is ok. Could this be a major problem, although if it was how come the viagra/cialis doesn't work.
+ I do also take zinc everyday.
It's gotten to the point where I tried viagra (more than a couple times to make sure), however the viagra didn't do anything for me and I tried it at different doses. I have read that Levitra works better for diabetics/could work if viagra doesn't do anything as everyone's body reacts differently. Have not tried Cialis either. Regardless of all this, I'm too young to be taking the medication.
Could this be due to low testosterone or what? Any advice is appreciated.
Edit/update:
- I've tried cialis now too and that or viagra didn't work (Tried with high doses too)
- I got tested and my testosterone/vitamin D levels are 'normal' (Will post full results when I receive them)
- I personally don't think it's psychological either as I'm not stressed and am very comfortable with myself/girlfriend and she is understanding about this too.
- Forgot to mention, when I do tense my penis a bit it is 10/10 hard. I know that seems obvious but don't know if that is a sign of something or not.
