Easily. Testosterone blood tests should be always taken in the morning not more than few hours after waking up.

A first thing to try if you have low testosterone is simple natural methods . The most obvious is sleep.
A couple points here guys with low test seem to want to go to hrt without trying natural methods .
Those that do try natural methods seem to be half assed and eaisly discouraged .
The myth has also grown up that natural methods have little effect . This is not true a simple thing like getting enough sleep can have a significant effect.
Here I discuss the effectiveness of natural methods.

Another thing I keep coming across is young guys who have no knowledge about hormones or anything like that. These are just your average kids in there 20s who live a normal lifestyle and end up at the doctors with a host of symptoms, who end up being diagnosed with depression and put on strong anti depressants and go years thinking they are depressed and have mental health problems. They end up needing counselling feeling suicidal.
Here is an example:
I complained (over time) to at least 5 different doctors about the types of symptoms that you are describing; which I will call "classic" symptoms of low testosterone...
Anyways, I came across an endo one weekend, as he was the only person open and I needed flu meds. As and aside I raised the issue and...he too said I was just "depressed" and tried to dissuade me from getting my testosterone levels tested. I went ahead anyways...and tested low (1.8 ng/ml free test). The doctor was shocked.
Very soonafter a second doctor, a urologist, also tried to then dissuade me from getting tested as a "second opinion" sort of thing and was equally shocked when almost identical readings came back.
In short, my life changed after I was put on testosterone
So many men are going around unaware of the reason they feel like they do and are taking meds and believing they are mentally depressed . All them years wasted suffering could have been avoided if doctors are more up to date with TRT. Over at T Nation there is a guy called Ksman, a former engineer , who started researching this stuff in the 70s .He is worshipped like a god over there for his expertise in TRT , helping many men who have been brushed off by the medical doctors. He underlines how important thyroid function is and how most people are iodine deficient .. but that's another topic lol
Can illness affect testosterone levels? I had no ED issues until I was 19. I got mononucleosis/glandular fever. I tried to have a wank one day when I was still recovering and it didnt work properly and never has since. Got diagnosed with venous leak and had revascularization surgery which didnt help but from reading these treads wonder has my issue been low T all the time? The urologists obviously tested my hormones and even went to an endocrinologist and was told all was normal and obviously trusted them, but now I am wondering.
How did they diagnose venous leak ? Was it through blood flow testing ? I am not sure in your situation I'm no expert but it wouldn't be the first time I have heard of failed surgeries .. Which raises the question was that even the problem? .
Try to get a fresh set of labs done and ask for a copy , don't be accepting the answer of everything is normal , you want the actual numbers. I would start with Total test and free test . It will at least rule that out ... though in your case it sounds like there could be other issues going on. Have you tried Cialis ? There is a peptide called PT 141 research that and you will thank me later .. I woke up with an erection that could have knocked down a wall and it lasted nearly 2 hours fluctuating between 70%-100% the whole time. This was when I was going through one of the worst ED cases in my life . It is easy to get a hold of online through research companies/ peptide sites and has little known side effects . Apparently there is a lot of research going into this peptide with a potential breakthrough in treating ED .
Sorry for hijacking this thread a touch . it is after all about what is the optimal testosterone levels .
I saw 3 urologists. I had arteriograms. I cant tell you how they diagnose it. I was just told that the inflow was good. I had doppler ultrasound done as well. I then went to a doc in San Diego and he did some blood flow pressure testing in my arm and compared it to my dick. He said the inflow into my dick was lower and so I had revasc surgery to improve inflow. I can have sex with cialis or at least I could the last time I got laid and that was 3 yrs ago! I never achieve 100% hardness even with trimix injections. Its 80% hard.
I have notice that my libido is rock bottom. My penis seems insensitive to touch (as a teen a tiny stroke would give me a boner in 10 seconds). Now it feels dull, not numb but sort of numb (I can feel pain if I pinch the skin). My orgasms dont feel good, just an dull feeling when I ejaculate. No 'high' from it.
I had a total testosterone test taken at 9am a couple weeks back and it was 337. I had another one taken last week and will post up the results of that one when they come back tomorrow or tuesday. The doc said they were ''normal''.
I am getting a couple more hormones checked this time such as SHBG and albumin I think to calculate Free Testosterone. The lab cant test for free testosterone.
You need to find a lab that will test for Free T. That is the key result. My opinion is 337 Total T is low.
That is fine .... if you are 90 !! 337 is low . When mine was around 300 my libido was in the gutter . Post up your results next time
I have repeatedly told ed15yrs that his testosterone is low and that it will cause the issues he has .
He has also read this thread which makes it clear that anything under 500 is likely to cause issues especially if you are young .
Some points on free test .
Firstly if your total test is below 500 you are very likely deficient before you look at anything else .
Second the vast majority of free testosterone tests are inaccurate to the point of being worthless .
So most of the guys carrying on about free test don't really know their level .
Third if you really feel the need for free testosterone test you must get the sensitive test as explained earlier in this very thread.
