Male Testosterone Levels in an Unhealthy Population

Depending on the lab your doctor uses, male testosterone levels typically range between 250ng/dl and 850 ng/dl.
As you may well imagine, these ranges are not set to optimal levels. They are from a cross section of men aged 20 to 80; many of whom may be sick or diseased, from a lifetime of unhealthy habits.

So if your doc tells you your 350 total testosterone is normal he is correct . It is of course average for a guy in his 80's and your dick may act like it is in it's 80's . But hey as far as many docs are concerned it is normal and not life threatening so he is not concerned .
Of course some docs are concerned as it probably reduces quality of life . So there is an argument in mainstream medical at this time on this question .
Thing is I am less concerned about docs and more about the welfare of members so I welcome input.

Have not even looked into this, but I feel I am declining in this regard. Is there a way to supplement or reverse this; without prescription chemicals/drugs?

When I was 70, my Endocrinologist (a doc specializing in the harmone system) advised me that my 290 total T was in the acceptical range and recommended against testosterone replacement.

    Lol.
    My view in post 2.
There are many factors I would consider before I called it acceptable . The first would have been do you want a sex life?

Different guys seem to need different amounts of testosterone (test) in them to function well .
That said my experience both personal and on the boards is that levels under 500 are very likely to cause negative effects . Now let me qualify that ;if you are 80y and your test is 400 and your dick doesn't work you may think this is normal and nothing to worry about . I am fine with that .

On the other hand if your test is 350 and you are 25y and your dick is acting like you are 80y it would not surprise me . It would concern me and likely you .

So here is a worrying thing if you go to the graph that shows average test level it shows average stays over 500 past 60y . There is a worry though if one looks at the bottom 5% it is under 500 from an early age .

How can this be why aren't masses of guys screaming about it. Well several factors . Firstly if a guy has had this all his life it is normal for him. Hey he is just a low energy low libido guy yada yada . Second it is not the sort of thing a guy shouts from the rooftop . Thirdly when they go to the doc complaining of ed lack of libido lack of energy etc the are told their test is normal and give Viagra .

    Now as to why .
How many guys these days get 8hrs sleep a night eat all the fruit and veg they should get a ton of exercise fresh air and sunshine ?
That is before we talk chemical pollutants etc.

I didn't really develop a libido until age 14. I rubbed my dick for the sensation from age 10 but couldn't masturbate conventionally until I was 14.5 yrs old. Had no erections issues until I was 19. I get very surprised when I hear guys talking about masturbating age from much earlier ages eg. 7 or 8. Am I abnormal?

I have just read that men worldwide are becoming more infertile and read about plastics. I also read how it lowers testosterone. I wonder if this had anything to do with me?

Also is it possible to go from 337 to 600 with natural methods?
