  • Lost erection switching positions or not stimulating

    Good day!

I didn't know where exactly to post this question because it doesn't really fall into any specific forum category so if this is not the appropriate place, please feel free to move it to wherever you see fit

So the question is, do you experience loss in erection while changing positions with a partner? or actually even on your own masturbating do you lose erection when you stop stimulating for a few seconds? I'm not sure what is normal and what is not here but I seem to start losing erection quickly when i stop stimulation be it wait for PONR to calm or change position during sex, it happens if I get distracted or not, it just happens, during masturbation it's easy to recover erection as soon as I start stimulating again but during sex as it takes longer to switch positions more of the erection is lost and thus it's harder to recover it, any links or advice on the matter? I tried to search here and there about this issue but with no luck, maybe there's a name for the condition that I'm not aware of or maybe it's how a penis work lol, either way any links or ideas are highly appreciated

I have had this problem from time to time, but not all the time. So it isn't how penis works. Good working penis doesn't go soft immediately when stimulation is lost. Just getting overall better eq helps.

Thanks Trapezius, do you have any specific advice regarding EQ or a link that addresses a good EQ exercise or habit?

        I only know about basic things;
        -healthy lifestyle
        -aerobic fitness exercise
-strength training, especially lower body exercises like squats, also hindu squats to pelvic floor balance
        -L-arginine + Citrulline malate
        -Curcumin
-Taking care that there's no vitamin and mineral defiencies (vitamin d, zinc and magnesium are common)
-Checking hormones are ok (testosterone, estradiol, T4, T3, prolactin, fsh). Also GH defiency cause ED.
        -Kegels and reverse kegels

I don't know about jelqing and pumping, I have done them but can't say about their effectiviness. but they are said to be helpful.

Still even I do a quite many things to improve eq I have had EQ issues lately. My EQ without ED drugs (viagra, cialis) is not so strong, so I lose erection when swithching positions. So I use ED drugs and they give me also confidence.

I have it from time to time when I am overtraining my unit.
Light slow Jelqing for 15-20 mins and immediatelly 10 mins edging seems to help.

For me when I extend more than 4h/day or if I am using a higher tension or doing Ulis , they always bring my EQ down.

I had the best EQ when I was extending 4h/day with 600 grams tension and jelqing softly and edging.

Mike, I get the same thing in regards to sex vs. masturbating and losing/regaining erections. "What's 2+2? Ah shit." Anything that takes me out of the moment for a second, I start to lose it. I think, for me, it's mostly in my head. A snowball effect of not being rock hard, then immediately thinking about it and trying to get it back, and then losing it completely. Probably stemming from ED issues I've had in the past and the lingering psychological effects of it and the performance anxiety it caused. It doesn't happen all of the time and having confidence in my erection from the start and staying mentally engaged might be what make the difference... seems to be plausible as I search the ol' memory. There's my experience... hope it helps somehow.

Also, one thing I've always meant to try but keep forgetting to do is stroking during those position changes or moments of distraction.
