  • Dumped again. Can’t get an erection.

Hi all. I’m 31. In shape with no health problems. I gym regularly. I don’t smoke. Don’t take drugs. Drink alcohol only on a weekend.
I’ve just been dumped by a girl I was seeing for 6 weeks.

The reason? I’m unable to achieve an erection. I was aroused but could only get a semi at best. Not hard enough to penetrate. I can ejaculate when soft. When the woman went down on me, she said I went from semi to soft before ejaculating.

This happens with every woman I meet. My first girlfriend I had no issues..but for all of my 20s I’ve been unable to achieve a rock hard erection for penetration. I don’t suffer from nerves or performance anxiety. When I was seeing the girl we slept naked often.

I’m not addicted to porn or nor have any thoughts about it. I can go without porn for months or years.
I pmo’ed sometimes but it wouldn’t give me a rock hard erection. I can go for weeks/months without pmo with no urges. But still unable to achieve an erection.

I also don’t get wet dreams or morning erections.

My penis is pretty much dead and seems to be permanently shrivelled.

All pills viagra, Cialis and levitra have no effect whatsoever even with maximum dose and my doctor says my testosterone levels are normal. I also took Cialis 5mg every day for a month. No effect.

I have had hypospadias repair surgery when I was 27. I had a rock hard erection when it was healed. But since then...it’s been permanently limp. I think my penis is slightly shorter due to the surgery.

    What’s going on?

Hi Had a look and come up with this very good link, OK mods please leave this up as it important for this guy.

Have a good read and see if it helps.

      https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2684263/

From what your saying I think you have another problem, but you really do need to get a blood test done for your hormones and ask for a copy of your results and post on here, your shrinkage could from just lack of good erections, as it can happen.

Do you get any nocturnal erections? or morning woods?

      Enjoy the read.

Hi thank you. I’ll go back to my doctor for blood test. I’ve been tested numerous times and they said I was in the normal range.

I don’t get morning wood or nocturnal erections. Haven’t had one for about 10 years? I don’t get random erections.

My sex life with my first GF at 18 was perfect no issues.

Since then every partner I’ve met, I’ve been unable to have intercourse due to it not being hard enough.

On the scale of 0 being nothing and 10
        Being rock hard.

I’m about a 4/5 when I’m intimate with a woman and when I’m about to ejaculate it goes to 2 immediately.

Do you feel anxious at all during sex? Any problems with depression? Can you recall exactly when you started having these problems? Any feelings for your previous partner(s)? Describe your energy levels.

I don’t suffer from anxiety during sex. I’m quite confident. I make sure I get the woman off first. But the woman ends up being frustrated that I can’t penetrate her then she ends the relationship.

This does makes me feel very depressed as it’s killing all potential relationships. I was hoping to settle down and have children by now.

I don’t sleep very well. Average around 6 hours at best.

Well the sleeping issue would be the first step I'd take in your shoes. The lack of morning wood could come down to your REM patterns and you're having erections in the night when you don't know it. Try to drink some water right before you go to sleep and see if you get morning wood in the middle of the night when you have to use the bathroom. If you feel at least somewhat energetic throughout the day I doubt you have problems with lack of testosterone.

From what you said it sounds like something either to do with the surgery you had or something mental. You did say you are expecting kids already and that can definitely act as a mental block. Generally the more pressure you place on yourself the harder it is to get an erection, sex is supposed to occur naturally and without thought or force.

I'd seek a professional physically and mentally (in a non condescending way of phrasing.)

PE wise I'd say try kegeling to ensure your pelvic floor is fit first.

I’m very sure I haven’t had morning wood for a long long time.

Strange thing is I’m aroused with the woman and relaxed. But I’ve never been able to enter the woman for the past 13 years. My penis is too floppy.

The woman is usually understanding at first, but we keep trying to do it unsuccessfully then she ends up leaving me.

My urologist says my penis looks fine apart from it being on the small side with some scarring due to surgery.

I’m quite often tired during the day and I’ve noticed my balls don’t hang. They just stay shrunken even when hot.

OK So a few more things to look at first would be eating, as they say we are what we eat, if your a fast food lover and also like sodas, time to stop and that includes all canned drinks, and yes even energy one as there the worst.

Like a drink the stop for say 6 months, see how things are going.

In the exercise and health forum your find nowhrads mix, its mine its something I put together when I first had ED, what its first job is, it cleans our blood, as good clean blood gives us good erections, do the 12 week trail, see if your erections get stronger.

If you don't get out and do some kind of exercising, brisk walking, jogging, swimming or get to a gym, get working out doing something.

                      Thank you.

I train at gym 3-5 a week lifting weights.

I tend to eat lots homemade spicy food with garlic, ginger and chilli.

Post the old hormone results it sure sounds like low test .

A doc saying normal mean nothing . Never ever accept being told normal get the numbers.

Your diet sounds good, so your bloods should be OK, and lifting weights is good for you and your testosterone, but its best you do get another test done for your testosterone, but you have something that's out of whack, so your blood work should tell all, and get a copy of your results.

I’ve results back. My GP says I’m normal and it’s 19.8 for testosterone level

I have no idea what this means?
