  • ED for 7 years, I believe caused by jelqing and manual stretching

Hi all, I’m going to try to keep this post short. Looking for help from people that may have similar situation/symptoms.

I am currently 25 years old and when I was 16/17 I found out about PE. I never seriously got into it, but from time to time I would do sessions of jelqing and manual stretching. When jelqing I would be pretty light, although I didn’t warm up as much as I should have. Same with stretching. At the time I never notice d any negative signs beside a “tiredness” after the session that tutorials at the time said was normal. The only ever “injury” I noticed was one time when manual stretching to the left I felt a somewhat sharp pain at the right base of my penis, and I immediately stopped. Never had any bruising or swelling.

Right around when I was 17/18 I noticed that i was having a harder time getting erections, particularly in that getting an erection through thought alone was very hard and I was rarely getting morning wood. My libido also dropped significantly. At the time I never thought it could have been from my PE because I never had a noticeable injury. I thought it was maybe low testosterone or something; I also had an ache appear at this time in my right testicle. I had bloodwork done and a ultrasound on my testicles at the time that said everything was fine. I was told not having morning wood was normal for some guys so I kind of just accepted it.

Flash forward 7 years and it’s slightly gotten worse over the years. My current symptoms are as follows:

    - brain penis “connection” feels off, can’t really get hard from thoughts alone or just pictures of pornography

-flaccid penis almost feels like it isn’t there, almost like a numbness

-takes a while to start urinating and I feel the urge to urinate somewhat frequently. Also I have the feeling that I can’t completely empty my bladder at times

    - very hard to maintain an erection while standing

    - rarely ever get morning wood, goes away very quickly if present

    - no spontaneous erections

    - never get super hard almost painful erections anymore that I used to get as a teenager

    - less ejaculation volume and I don’t “shoot” like I used to before the symptoms

    - low libido, penis just feels kind of dead, I can get hard watching porn but if I don’t stimulate myself it will go down somewhat quickly

    - don’t experience blue balls anymore really

    - I used to have bad inner pelvis aches randomly but those went away about 2 years ago

So I’ve been to multiple urologists as well as an endocrinologist to test my hormones. Everything seems fine, I can post my numbers if people want to see those. I’ve also had my prostate checked many times and been told it is fine. I’ve done every test basically except for a Doppler test. I feel as though PE must be the cause because these symptoms appeared rapidly around the same time I was doing PE and I don’t have other medical evidence of anything that could be causing these erectile and libido issues.

My worst fear is that somehow my dabble with PE at a young age resulted in a venous leak. The only thing that gives me hope is that some things have helped over the years. With cialis I can maintain my erection much better, almost normal. Of all the supplements I’ve ever tried, it seems like Vitamin B6 (p5p form) helps my libido and ability to get and maintain an erection. Also I have read extensively about hard flaccid and I have tried many many stretches as well as using the therawand for internal trigger release. I feel as though I have many of the symptoms that hard flaccid people have except for the actual small harder flaccid; my flaccid feels more weightless and “empty”. One time when using the therawand my erection quality improved drastically but I have not been able to duplicate that success with other sessions, maybe my technique is not good. I’ve tried abstaining from masturbation, but it never seems to help really (longest I’ve gone was about 3-4 weeks).

Anyways, after years and years of suffering from this it has obviously taken a toll on me mentally but I try my best not to let it get me down. I just want to know what others here think and if there is anything they can suggest I look into. I’ve read other similar stories about people that have had this low libido, bad erections and sort of dead penis for years and have improved through different methods. In particular I think a user by the name of 99PercentCured seemed to have similar symptoms and fixed himself by use of the therawand and trigger releases.

Anyways, I’d like to hear any and all thoughts and any advice that can be given my way, I really appreciate it!

Your symptoms indicate a hypertonic pelvic floor.

How frequent is your porn use? Might be related to that.

Here are some lab results I had done (reference ranges in parens):

              General:

              - testosterone total first test: 565 ng/dL (250 - 1100)
              - testosterone free: 133.5 pg/mL (35.0 - 155.0)
              - testosterone total second test: 506.8 ng/dL (280 - 1100)
              - estradiol: 37 pg/mL ("male normal" listed as < 41)
              - hematocrit: 49.5% (37.5% - 51%)
              - FSH: 1.9 mUnits/mL (1.4 - 18.1)
              - Prolactin: 11.9 ng/mL (2.1 - 17.7)
              - DHEA Sulfate: 267.7 mcg/dL (24.0 - 690.0)

              Thyroid related:
              - intact PTH first test: 22.6 pg/mL (12 - 88)
              - intact PTH second test: 35 pg/mL (18 - 88)
              - TSH first test: 1.082 ulU/mL (0.270 - 4.200)
              - TSH second test: 0.706 mcUnits/mL (0.350 - 5.000 mcUnits/mL)
              - T4, free: 0.86 ng/dL (0.55 - 1.60)

Let me know if there are any other specific readings you are looking for, I might have them in some of my labs. Thanks

I use it to masturbate, I started watching it around age 15, have used it ever since. I don't think it is related to this because my libido just dropped pretty randomly along with my erection quality. I have done some periods of nofap and seen no improvement from it with respect to libido or erection quality (still no random or morning erection).

Your testosterone level is on the low side for a young guy would be average for a guy 50Y plus .

However I think the core of your issue is pelvic floor related and the guy to see is a physio who does male pelvic floor work.

Do you think that there is any way I can raise my testosterone naturally? I went to an endocrinologist in order to make sure my low libido wasn't caused by something like low test and he said that there was no hormonal reason for my symptoms after looking at my results.

I definitely need to exercise more and eat better, but I'm not drastically overweight ( 5-10, ~185 lbs, I have a fair amount of muscle mass as well). I would like to improve my testosterone levels naturally if I can though.

Have you looked into joining a gym and focusing on core exercises and squating?
It sounds silly but i know for sure when i worked a physical job as a labourer i had great control..
For me it made a big difference.
