  • Cant maintain erection without stimulation

Hello, I am new to the forums and I am seeking help for an issue I am having with ED. I am 20 years old, and I can not maintain an erection without constant stimulation, during sex or masturbation. Currently I require trimix injections to have intercourse. I have had a few doppler ultrasounds and no leaks or anything obvious was found. I also have no morning erections so I don't know whats going on. If anyone could lead me in the right direction or link me a few threads to read that deal with this issue I would be very apprecative. I am very desperate and getting very worried this is an unfixable issue. I would appreciate anything anyone could tell me. I can get to about 80-90% hardness but I start losing it literally the second I stop touching myself. Sometimes I lose it during masturbation too but I have no leak as far as the urologist is concerned so I am very confused. Thanks

I forgot to say I have this issue even with viagra and cialis, and I doubt the issue is atleast completely physcological as I was sexually active from 16-19 with no problems and I don't know what happened and why my EQ changed so drastically

My testosterone is 523ng/L and my thyroid, CBC, and metabolic panel were all in normal range. I can't find the numbers for anything else I don't know if that means the doctor didn't order a complete hormone test

So your Total test is marginal for your age . So mine is similar and I am ok with it but then I am 60y and that number is typical of a guy in his 60'S. So your sexual virility is typical of a guy in his 60's funny that .

Suggest you raise your test useing natural methods can supply further info if needed.

I have essentially experienced lifelong ED that was finally diagnosed in 2018 by Dr. Goldstein as veno-occlusive disfuction due to penile fibrosis in my corporal chambers. Essentially my corpora cavernosa do not fully expand due to the fibrosis, which in turn makes the blood trapping mechanism not function properly. I have to use 10-20mg Cialis to confidently have sex... and even then I have issues getting an erection quickly and obviously issues maintaining erection without stimulation.. I lose my erection quickly without stimulation 90% of the time... unless I have one of those unusual days where I feel like I function like a normal man my age (but still with 10-20mg of Cialis in my system).

Thanks for the advice, I actually went to the urologist today and he did not want to give me a full hormone panel and said that my testosterone was well within normal range for my age, which is obviously false but oh well. I think the urologists just get kickbacks for perscribing the pills and injections so they'd rather go that route than figuring out the root cause sadly. I will have to save up a little and order a blood test on my own, which where I live is about $400 for a full hormone panel.

I am overall very confused as to what could be causing my erectile dysfunction besides the low testosterone. I don't know if the low T would be the reason the blood leaves my erection so fast. According to the ultrasounds there is no venous leakage and when using the trimix the mechanic for closing the veins seems to work fine as I sometimes even have priapism using the injection.

For now I am going to focus on doing pelvic stretches, kegels and reverse kegels aswell as some light stretching to see if it helps with the issues. If you could reply to the thread or send me a message detailing some ways I can naturally boost my testosterone I would be appreciative. It's very frustrating that the doctors dismiss this issue as non-important and since the injections work for me the doctor seems to be fine with saying I am cured without even knowing the root cause of the problem. I doubt it's psychological as I can not masturbate without using pills or the injections and I do not get morning woods either. I will try to get a full hormone panel and continue the exercising in hopes that it will help. I also noticed that most of my problems with erections began at the same time I had a surgery on my testicle by the same doctor, It was just a cyst removal but the recovery process was long and didn't heal as expected. I am wondering if this surgery is the cause of the low testosterone or even the ED. I'm pretty sure the doctor knicked a vein or nerve as I also have intermittent pain in my testicle and pelvis almost two years after the surgery. I doubt the doctor will ever admit something went wrong and all of the other urologists in my area covered by my insurance work at the same practice and they have refused to even look into my complaints about the surgery. When I get the full blood test done I will make an update and hopefully have some answers. Thanks

I priced mail kit for total testosterone it was $69 Australian less than $50 US. Dare say there were cheaper if I looked around.

Have a broken heart? Sleeping well? Stressed? Many factors can contribute to ED regardless of hormones.
