Personaly speaking ... even when I was a teenager and my libido was hitting the roof, I never had the mood to masturbate with porn more than 2 times/day.(mostly 1/day). I wanted the REAL THING.
Now that I am 38 I don t have the mood to masturbate more than 1/day.
BUT in any any age (from teenager till now) having sex with a woman is something else...completely different...I could and still can have sex multiple times/day.
WHY??? Because my brain seperates the REAL THING from the SUBSTITUTE.
The PROBLEM happens when the person makes the SUBSTITUTE feels like THE REAL THING.
Thats all I had to say.

Personally I'm bad when it comes to moderation. Whether it be porn, video games, or anything else potentially addictive. That's why I try to 100% get rid of certain things rather than practice moderation. I'd like to reiterate from my first post that I think masturbation is totally fine, and that my main problem is online porn.

Whatever this guy has posted is 100% reality for a porn addicted user.
I was reading every line and I could relate with every fucking line. From specific big bossom to ordinary fetish such as being cuck.
I was a heavy porn user and who heavily masturbated over porn, and trust me when the real time came to perform, I was not able to get hard at all, despite she was 9/10. It's cause I was already jerking over 10/10. Tell you how terrible I felt that day. But after day 20, I started noticing a flatline, decreased libido with no morning woods nor random Erection even till today.
Along with NOFAP I'm practicing Normal kegel exercise to fasten recovery.

I agree with both sides in this post. Maybe porn is not inherently evil, but the way that it is used by many people makes it quite dangerous.
Here's another example. A little bit of sugar isn't bad, but the way most people in the Western world use sugar is causing diabetes, metabolic disease, obesity and more. I mean, people's expected lifespan is decreasing in the United States of America because of poor nutrition and lifestyle.
So you can say, "sugar isn't bad, just use it in moderation," but obviously it's more complicated than that. If you are able to moderate your porn, good for you.
I have gone more than 3 months without porn or orgasm and it was one of the most powerful and productive periods of my life. I met a beautiful woman and my first orgasm having sex with her was better than losing my virginity.

Bro @SuperGuy i also have the problem of getting erection in standing position ,Some time i get it but i cant hold It ,I get morning erection but it fades ,i am on nofap of 100 days i saw some improvement still cant get erection in standing ,how you got it what u did it???

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with masturbation. Just limit yourself to once a day. Porn is the real problem here. If someone is unable to quit I would recommend doing a fazing off cycle of masturbating to nude women but not watching sex scenes, bjs, dildo porn, etc. After a few months of this either only masturbate to lewd photos with no nudity or just use your imagination. I tried No Fap a few times and would end up cumming in my sleep. Porn is physiologically damaging not masturbation.

Thank you for sharing this. It is good to abstain from the pleasures of life from time to time in order to achieve a successful life. I'm personally bad when it comes to moderation. I found cutting out video games, porn, and politics (things I use to obsess over) to be the best decision I have ever made. My productivity, and willpower has noticeably increased, and I'm starting to become proud of the person I'm becoming. My relationship with my parent's and siblings has never been better, I'm way more confident and sociable, I've become a straight A student at my university, I started learning how to play the piano, started working out and eating healthy, girls have started flirting with me (especially when I don't pay attention to them). There are better things in life than the instant gratification that pornography offers.
