Hi Darren I have the "hard flacid" problem as well but none the symptoms mentioned above. Unfortunately I think because my injuries were so long ago scar tissue formed in my dick and that's likely why my erections don't last long and the glands don't engorge well. My penis when flacid feels quite hard not so elastic than before.
Surely there has got to be something that can disolve the scar tissue if only a bit even if it takes months. After 6 years though I'm starting to think it's all too late...
PS: Darren if you had hard flacid did you cure it?

darrenneedstolearn.
All of those symptoms sounds just like prostateitis.
How long has it been since you've had your prostate examined by a physician?

No iv not cured it, all the symptoms above i have most of them which is strange then, it could mean i have something else as well then. im trying to research as much as i can but something that im trying seems to be having some sort of effect on my glans and shaft, they are or was very deflated and the glans ( the head ) was very white and small like no blood was in it, here is what i tried and why - when i squeeze the head and hold the base up top i can feel the blood rushing out so it shows i have a leak and im hoping its a valve which i think it is as that's what causes clots, and then thrombosis and i have them, i think as the veins are popping out like there on my dick as of inside it. Also there's a lot of talk lately of trigger points and how he cured hard flaccid one guy of here, plus i came across the site above on pelvic floor dysfunction so all in all that's the reasons and this this is my thoughts???????
As iv got a leak hopefully a valve iv been using TENS electro pulse stimulation, hoping like how they restart the heart when it stopped trough electricity is im hoping like the same way is to contract the valves and get it use to working again but this idea i found from a site that its been helping with venous leak, of course there is different venous leak, through veins or the valve which has stopped working, now the ( trigger points ) do not know enough but its about pelvic floor etc so iv used the TENS machine, one pads on the pelvic floor to stimulate it plus one on my bone above dick as there is veins there, still trying to catch the valve's and one on my dick at the base and one under-neth , the one on top still trying to work the valves here,
OUTCOME - my glans and shaft inflate and my glans are red again, remember i still have a leak from the head but at least they are inflating when im erect and look so much better..
What iv realized as well , before when i was doing loads of pelvic floors plus the edging i was doing my way i gained alot of muscle there so much so it was notice-able but now i feel hardly fuck all there so its that affecting the glans and shaft??????

Im going hospital on the 12th, its only been like the last month since iv gained all these problems, my doctor new fuck all, when i was talking about the dorsal vein which is of course on top he started going into a story about fishes and how the dorsal fin is on the back meaning i didnt know where my dorsal vein was, so my trust in my doctor does not exist. Well the symptoms which is on that list is from a pelvic floor dysfunction site so thats why i thought it could be linked as the problems came altogether, just trying to get closer to a cure. seeing if theres a link

From all of the research, tests, doctor visits and cures we have been going through at hardflaccid.org, all signs are pointing very strongly to this being a muscular condition.
I am in NYC and have seen literally some of the best doctors in the world. My urologist, who happens to be one of the top penile tissue microsurgeons and Peyronie's experts in the world, diagnosed me with "a severe case of Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome", also known as "Chronic Prostatitis" - which is an older and outdated name for it because it's actual involvement of the prostate is only secondary. This doctor not only had seen hard flaccid many, many times - he even called it a "classic case" of CPPS.
This "injury" likely doesn't actually involve the penis at all. Many of us have undergone every test in the book and have verified that our actual penises are perfectly fine, as far as the tissue etc goes. The problem seems to come from prolonged overuse, tension and/or weakness of various muscles in the pelvis. This includes everything from the anus, to the abs, to the perineum, to the legs and everything in between. Every week I get dozens of reports of men who got hard flaccid while lifting weights, bike riding, after prostate surgery, and all sorts of other ways that have absolutely nothing to do with their penis.
The people who practice PE likely did this to themselves via excessive kegel-type exercises, which actually weaken the pelvic muscles when you do too much of them. The weightlifters etc get it from overuse, clenching, strain etc. The post-surgery folks get it from muscle reaction, weakness, damage etc to the perineal body.
The main muscle which is likely the primary culprit causing the actual hard flaccidness is the Ischiocavernosus. This muscle originates deep within the pelvis and covers more that have the penis. It is the muscle which enables erection, controls urination, etc. Though you will likely need to look much further beyond it, as all of the muscles in that region of the body work together as a whole and constantly feedback off each other. A tight hamstring can cause a tight muscle in the rectum, which can cause another tight muscles in the abs, which can cause muscles in the perineum to contract etc.
So far, 99% of everyone who has been cured has done so through pelvic floor physical therapy, including myself. Trigger point therapy, both in the rectum and externally, specific stretching routines, specific strengthening routines, etc all are essential - and must be done in a specific order designed specifically for your own body. You will not be able to treat this on your own, and trying to will likely cause more harm than good. If you want to get rid of it, find yourself a good physical therapist who specializes in the pelvic floor.
As for having actual "prostatitis", it's highly unlikely. They are only recently discovering that 95% of "prostatitis" cases are nothing more than pelvic muscle dysfunction. I was misdiagnosed with it for 2 months and put on all kinds of horrible antibiotics for no reason before figuring this out. Here's the deal with prostatitis: Get blood, urine, semen and prostate fluid analysis done. If you don't have any infection there, you don't have prostatitis and you should pursue it as a muscle issue. And like I said, it's almost always the case.
You are on the right track, get to a physical therapist and put this behind you. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, no doubt it is the pelvic from your research, i was on your site and and they talk of symptoms listed above up top plus the facts of how a few of you have over come it. Its crazy how it can induce soft glans and the veins sticking out. Im very glad through you and your site people have over come. A year ago this was not the case. A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU AND YOUR SITE

I hope you find the cure to your ED problems I know you said you cured your Venous Leak but maybe that's because you don't have it/didn't have it. I'm not saying you're wrong mate but perhaps you have a pelvic floor dysfunction intstead. It seems like those who truelly have Venous Leak don't overcome it (maybe only short term) it's a permanant disorder.
