I am 30 years old, in my late teens I injured myself by doing penis enlargement exercises too vigourously (primarily stretching, jelqing, and pumping). After this time, my penis had a harder time maintaining an erect state when not being stimulated (possibly due to damaged veins in the penis not adequately preventing blood outflow). The condition healed over time (took 2-3 years) however it has never gotten perfect and I still lose my morning erections almost immediately after I awake, and lose sexual erections quite rapidly without stimulation. Thankfully, my erections are excellent while being stimulated, and for up to 15 seconds with no stimulation so I do not have any problems masturbating. That being said, the "fear" of being able to lose my erections so easily greatly hinders me in sex, and social interactions with women, and also gives me severe sexual performance anxiety at times. I can maintain a level 9-10 EQ for over an hour without a problem if I am relaxed without anxiety and recieving constant sexual pleasure.
My hypothesis for the way my sexual response currently functions is this (bear in mind that I am no doctor): Healthy male with excellent arterial inflow, however damaged penile tissues with possible scarring from overzealous penile enlargement techniques has led to venous damage and thus poor regulation of blood outflow. I may also be subsceptible to venous issues as I have a varicocele (varicose vein in the tesiticle which 15-40% of men have), and may also have very mild mitral valve prolapse (a condition where there is mild regurgitation in one of the heart valves due to a leaky flap and is linked to anxiety. I am a very anxiety prone person. In conclusion, I believe I may be subsceptible to valve damage, venous damage, etc and that the issues I have are directly caused by my attempts at penis enlargement as a teen while being subsceptible to damage. I have almost no health problems and am extremely healthy besides the minor theoretical issues described above.
I have used cialis/viagra in almost all of my sexual encounters due to my issues including performance anxiety and mild venous leaks, but recently went on a kegel program for several months. Here is what happened: Basically I worked the kegel exercise every day for several months. I also practiced edging and ballooning, doing kegels and reverse kegels regularly. I aso refrained from ejaculation many times. The combination of intense kegels for several months and multiple cases of witholding ejaculation led me to develop a horrible case of prostatitis. I have had two episides of severe prostatits, once in april, and once in july, and they both resulted after doing hardcore kegels mixed with baloonning/eding and refraining from ejaculation. Prostatits basically makes your prostate feel super inflamed and fucked up, and also completely messes up your sexual response temporarily (pleasure and performance). I was able to heal the prostatitis by completely refraining from flexing my kegel muscle, flushing out my system with daily ejaculations for a week, and then sticking to a program of masturbating with ejaculation only once per week. Thankfully this therapy cured my prostatitis. But I want to warn people that the combo of intense kegels and balooning while withholding ejaculation can put severe stress on your prostate and cause this condition.Last edited by Sexuallyblessed; 09-20-2011 at 04:43 PM.

Ok, so advising regular ejaculation.
Did you also do prolonged edging?

Yes, prolonged edging was involved. The july incident actually did not involve witholding ejaculation. I went nearly 4 days in a row where I edged for 1 hour before ejaculating each day. On the 4th day, when I ejaculated, I got this horrible feeling in my prostate. My prostate stayed inflamed for months after this, and this same thing happened to me in April although the situation was slightly different there. In april, I abstained for a week, then edged for over an hour with a 10+eq, staying at near orgasm the entire time. I did not ejaculate at the end and went to bed. When I woke up, I felt really sexually agitated, and decided to masturbate and release in the shower. When I did this, it wasnt that pleasurable, and after I ejaculated, I immediately felt like my prostate was screwed up.
Ive learned that kegeling too hard, with too high a frequency puts a lot of stress on the prostate. When you combine it with prolonged edging as well as ballooning (hard reverse kegels while erect), and throw in occasions of witholding ejaculation, sometimes the prostate can't take it and gets messed up. Thats what happened to me. Thankfully Ive been mostly able to heal my prostatits, unfortunately I just injured myself last night trying foreskin restoration for the first time. I made a post about that in the injury forum.

Hmm , I have had no problem with prolonged edging /kegels. I do recomend regular ejaculation though.
When I was younger I ejaculated after pretty much every session, now I am older I sometimes don't, it has never been a problem though.
